Chapter 14

CHAPTER 14 IS FINALLY UP! I'm sorry it's been a few days but "ya girl just got her wisdom teeth removed" ;) and I had to rest for a few days because it hurt a lot and I couldn't concentrate on writing. Anyways, enjoy :)

E: "So, Gray and I are going to New Jersey for 10 days and I wanted to ask if you wanted to come with me. I have a good idea for our third date if you come with me. Well, if you want to go on another date with me"

"I'd love to go another date with you and I always wanted to go to New Jersey so, yeah I'll go with you"

I really thought he'd ask me to be his girlfriend but I feel really happy that he asked me to visit his hometown with him, I get to see where he spent his childhood and I think we'll have a lot of fun and connect a lot more.

"What are you doing in New Jersey anyways?"

E: "We wanted to visit our family and just enjoy some cold weather for once. Cali weather is fun and all but I need some cold winter weather sometimes"

"I know how you feel. I grew up with snow in winter and I miss it already, but I love LA and I don't wanna go back home. At least not the next few years. When are we leaving?"

E:" We're leaving on Friday, at 2am so we can sleep during the flight and arrive on Saturday"

"Sounds good. Are you going to pick me up or do you want me to meet you at the airport?"

E: "Gray will be the one driving and we'll pick you and Raina up at 11pm so be ready"

"Did Gray ask Raina too?"

E: "Yeah but it was on the day he asked her to be his girlfriend. I told Gray to tell Raina that I wanna wait with asking you because I wanted to see how our dates go and how things were going to turn out between us first. But now that our second date is basically over, I can tell that I really like you and I want you with me in New Jersey because I don't wanna spend 10 days without you."

"You don't know how happy these few words just made. I really don't want to be 10 days without you either. I mean we saw each other almost every day since our picnic with Grayson and Raina. After these two dates, I really like you a lot and I'm already excited for our third date in Jersey."

E: "Don't even bother asking where I'll take you though because it'll be a surprise again."

"Oh come on, you're so mean" I said pouting and laughing at the same time.

E: "No I'm not but you love surprises and I love planning them for you"

"So you didn't plan the date yet?"

E: "I planned three different things so far, I just didn't choose one yet"

"Oh okay. Well I'm still excited!"

E: "I'm sure you'd like all three of them"

"I guess we'll have three dates in New Jersey then"

E: "If you want three dates, you'll get three dates princess"

I melted on the inside because of that last word, he actually called me princess.

After we finished talking, Ethan and I ate our pizza, which was now cold. But I didn't care because talking to him was worth eating a cold pizza. It was still good, pizza is pizza after all.

E: "It's midnight soon, do you wanna head home?"

"Yeah sure. It's always getting really late when I'm with you somehow and I need some more sleep again" I said laughing.

E: "Let's go then"

The ride home was fun as always, no matter what time it was, day or night. We arrived at my apartment and I kissed him goodbye as usual. It's weird how we only went on two official dates, yet we already kinda act like boyfriend and girlfriend, with all those kisses and stuff.

The apartment was dark so I guessed Raina was sleeping already, I mean it's almost 1 in the morning. I went to the bathroom to brush my teeth, change into my pajamas and after everything was done, I went to bed. But before sleeping, I thanked Ethan for the, once again, perfect night.

1:07am "Thank you for tonight Ethan. I had a really good time with you as always :) xx"

1:11am Ethan: You're welcome, I hope we'll get to have a lot more nights like this :) x

About 5 minutes later I fell asleep with a smile on my face thinking about all the memories I have with Ethan so far. He makes me happier than I've been in years and I'm so thankful that Raina ran into Grayson that day on the airport. Thinking about Raina, I thought about all my past friendships and how they were never as good as my friendship with Raina, they were all either fake or toxic in some way and I'm happy to finally have a real friend after almost 18 years. Now I know what it feels like to trust someone with your life, to love someone more than anything in a non-romantic way, to feel like you would take a bullet for that person and knowing she'd never be the one behind the trigger. I'm truly blessed.

*The next morning*

I got up around 10am and decided to take a shower. After my shower, I went to look for Raina because I hadn't seen her since I left with Ethan last night. The apartment was quiet and I knocked on her door but no one answered. When I opened it, her bed was empty and I could tell no one slept in that bed last night.

*To: Raina*

10:43am "Where are you???"

I made breakfast after waiting almost 10 minutes for her to reply. While enjoying some peanut butter pancakes, fresh raspberries and a coffee, I got a message.

11:17am Raina: Umm.. I'm on my way home boo, I'm sorry I'll explain everything as soon as I'm home.. :))

11:18am "Okay? See you soon I guess, do you want pancakes? I made some and there are a few left"

11:20am Raina: I already had some breakfast but thank you

Okay, I'm confused. Where was Raina and where did she get breakfast from? I hope it's nothing bad and everything's alright.

R: "Luna, I'm home!"

"Okay you gotta tell me RIGHT NOW where you've been"

R: "I was with Grayson"

"Oh my god you lil nasty!" I said laughing because we used to make that joke a lot before we met.

R: "You are so damn dirty minded"
