Chapter 16

*Friday night*

Today was a really boring day. Raina and I just got some last minute stuff done before we head to Jersey with her boyfriend and my, I don't even know what to call him, soon. It was finally almost 11pm and the doorbell rang.

G: "Hey babe" He kissed Raina.

"Hello to you too Gray" I said laughing at the fact Raina was the only thing he saw as soon as she opened the door. They're too cute.

E: "I can do that too, hey princess!" I was still standing in the living room, Ethan almost ran to me and kissed me until we heard Grayson clear his throat.

G: "Okay I get it, won't happen again"

We put our bags in the car and Grayson drove us to the airport. The flight was good, I was sleeping with my head resting on Ethan's shoulder and our hands intertwined most of the time. He's so warm and smells so good, I don't wanna be without him anymore already.

"When's our first date in Jersey?"

E: "Sunday. It's an all day date, I've got stuff planned for the whole day. I hope you'll like it"

"I'm going to love it just like every other date you've planned for us so far"

E: "This one will be different though, it'll be more personal"

"Huh? How?"

E: "That, my princess, is a surprise"

"Aw"

E: "Stop pouting, no matter how many times you do that, it won't work even though you look really cute doing it" Ethan said and kissed me.

We landed and went to pick up a car to drive to their parents' house since Ethan and Grayson insisted on us not staying at a hotel. The house was an hour away from the airport and I was nervous to meet their parents. I'm not even Ethan's girlfriend and I'll meet them without any kind of liabilities, but I'm still nervous as hell. Raina is probably 10000x more nervous because she's Grayson's girlfriend and just hopes they'll like her. The amount of times I've hugged her and told her everything would be alright on this trip so far is unbelievable. But I'm her best friend and it's my duty to make her feel better even though Gray most likely tried to calm her down as many times as I did since he was sitting with her during the flight.

After an hour of sleeping in the passengers seat while Ethan was driving and Raina and Gray were sleeping in the backseat, we arrived at the house. I was still asleep but I felt someone lifting me up and carrying me somewhere else. I buried my head in that person's shirt and I knew it was Ethan since I could never forget that amazing smell. I was laid down on something that felt like a bed and just turned around, kept my eyes closed and slept some more. For some reason I was really tired, I don't know why though. A few hours later I woke up and turned around, I didn't know Ethan was there and I was facing him now.

E: "Hey there sleeping beauty"

"What time is it?"

E: "Almost 12.30pm, you slept really long"

"Oh my god. I did, somehow I was really tired. Thank you for carrying me to the bed"

E: "No problem, I didn't wanna wake you up so I just carried you to my room."

"Wait, I didn't get to greet your parents yet, I'm a horrible guest already. I should've stayed at a hotel"

E: "Shh, it's fine. I told them you were really tired from the flight and they were the ones that told me I shouldn't wake you up and just carry you to my bed real quick"
