If you are curious on the character's list, who's Abigail Bennett, she's the girl which Ysabelle slapped continuously during the first chapter. In short, she's the new girl of Ethan. I can see her as Chloe Moretz. Any, here's the eighth chapter.
"Ethan?" I asked closing the gap between us. She looks like her blood is drained from her body, even though she's a ghost her lips becomes paler than before.
"Nothing." she answers me while shaking her head. "Probably I'm just hallucinating again." Ironical as it gets, she's still hallucinating inspite of her being a ghost already.
"You know something I can feel it." Our gap is already open when she walked away from me crossed arms. "Ysabelle."
I called her when she went through the walls of my apartment. And she just disappears like a bubble. I tried to follow her outside but I didn't see her anymore.
I went back to my apartment banging the door. I still felt the pain I was feeling before and it made me cringe a little. "Come on, Ysabelle don't leave me hanging here." I said sitting down on my couch waiting for her to pass through the wall. Luckily, she came back. She had a distress and heartbreak mien when she came back.
I walk in front of her trying to treat her as a normal person. "Hey." I tell her as she looks down on the floor. "You okay?"
She bits her bottom lip and tears already flow through her cheeks. "Ethan's--" She covered her mouth trying to stop herself from wailing up more. "The couple that we saw there yesterday was Ethan and I don't know the name of that bitch." She tried to stop herself from crying but she couldn't. "Ethan is my ex boyfriend, remember when I told you about him? I left him because I saw them at his apartment I think they showered together and yeah they did something that night. I could tell."
"Ssshhh." My fingers trailed on her arms and surprisingly I felt her. It didn't feel awkward or tricky. It felt something I should need to do. I hold her on my arms and carefully leading her to sit down. "How did you do that?" She uncovered her mouth when she looked at me her eyes is still filled with tears.
"I don't know. I just touched you and I felt you." I answered confusingly. "Never mind that." Removing my arms on her and adjusting the gap between us.
"So, the two of you broke up because he cheated on you?" She nodded and starts to cry again.
"Stop crying it's already 5 years right?" She started to slap my thighs and I was stunned for a moment because I felt it. "5 months." She uttered mockingly.
"5 MONTHS." When I emphasized the word 'months' she looked in my direction. "What?"
"That's the reason why I'm in coma right now." Ysabelle fixes herself up wiping the tears on her face.
"What do you mean?" I querried.
She first inhaled a big air and exhaled a big one too. "When I caught Ethan with that girl I went home here on my apartment I was crossing the streets then a truck hit me. Remember?"
"Oh, yes. Just that lots of things happened and I got busy in the office"
She tried not to keep herself from crying again when she looked in my eyes. I slowly closed the gap between us and held her hand. Surprisingly, I felt her again. I felt her hands at the bottom of mine. "I'm sorry."
"Are you saying sorry because Ethan cheated on me or I got hit by a truck?" She sarcastically interrogate when she noticed my hands are now holding hers she removed it quickly.
I awkwardly stayed on my position as I removed mine too. "Both. And uhmmm, by holding your hands too."
"That's okay. Thank you for being a friend." Ysabelle strucked me with her smile and I did the same.
