Percy

Percy had no idea where in Hades he was, he could tell that a city lay behind him because he could hear the mortals bustling about and the roar of car engines, but before him lay a pub called the Leaky Cauldron. The image shifted and suddenly Percy was in a cobblestone alley with rows of shops on either side of him, they all had names that were just as weird as 'The Leaky Cauldron'. What was most peculiar; however, was that the alley was completely deserted. Tables and chairs were turned over in what Percy thought must have been in a frantic rush to evacuate.

A group of monsters stood in the middle of the unusual street in front of a highly lit shop called Weasleys Wizard Wheezes. Percy thought the shop looked very interesting and he wished he had more time to explore it but as it was he was more focused on the monsters that looked highly out of place in the alley. Many of them Percy recognized from his past adventures. He saw Cyclops. Empousa, Laistrygonians, Hellhounds, and Telekhines. A cloud of birds swarmed above the alley covering it like a dark cloud. It took Percy a moment to realize that they were Stymphalian Birds.

On his left, Percy noticed that a smaller group of monsters were crouched in a darker and smaller offshoot of the larger alley he was in. They appeared to be crouched over some sort of map. One of the monsters glanced up and focused right at him; Percy was shocked to recognize her as Kampe the legendary human-like monster with snakes for hair and her bottom half that of a dragon with gigantic claws. Percy hadn't seen her since the hundred-handed-one, Briares, buried her in boulders before the entrance of the Labyrinth. Now she was staring directly at him with a malevolent smirk on her face.

Percy could feel his reality slipping away from him and before he knew it he was standing straight up in bed the sun shining out the window. A dream, it had been awhile since he had a demigod dream. Those were dreams that bordered on prophetic showing him what dangers were on their way. He wondered how long the school had before all of Hades broke loose.

Percy had been surprised to see that he had slept in and the light was coming from his window was not morning light but rather a noon glow. He rushed to get ready for the day and when he was done he sought out Nico. Nico had come back late the night before, after delivering their friends to Camp Half-blood. He found him on the grounds going for a morning walk. Percy couldn't help but wonder how Nico could stand the heat in his black long sleeve shirt and jeans.

Nico looked up when Percy approached, "I'd thought you'd be passed out after last night," Percy told him, "You did shadow-travel four people halfway across the world yesterday."

Nico gave a shrug and a small smile, "It's getting easier and easier to move groups of people over long distances. Plus, I slept plenty last night at Camp Half-Blood before I came back this morning."

"I'm sure you did. How's Will?"

Nico rolled his eyes and asked, "What do you want?"

"Do you have enough energy for another trip, just yourself and only one way?" Percy asked

"I think so," his eyebrows rose, "Why?"

"There is something I need you to do, it may just be our only chance."

After explaining to him what he wanted him to do Percy watched Nico disappear to in the shadows. He exhaled slowly before he turned and headed back towards the Little House. He hoped to the gods that things turned around. He really didn't want to die in England before he had a chance to go to college.

Meanwhile at Camp Jupiter...

Jason and Piper were talking with Praetors Rayna and Frank, while Rayna's two Metallic Hounds Argentum and Aurum stood at attention by her side. Hylla the leader of the Amazons stood beside her sister and shook Jason and Piper's hands. Hazel came up in full armour and hugged both Jason and Piper. Behind them was all five cohorts of the Roman army practising in full battle gear while other citizens of the camp moved supplies, weapons, and armour with planned and calculated precision.

At Camp Half-Blood...

Leo had the entire Hephaestus cabin working day and night even stealing some of the Hermes and Ares kids to help him work on the Argos II. Grover Underwood the Lord of the Wild and his girlfriend Juniper were meeting with a group of Satyrs, Dryads, and other nature spirits. The rest of camp; however, was business as usual.

Travis Stoll was visiting from college and was currently catching up on a year's worth of pranks with his brother Connor by hiding all the scrolls, books, and maps from the Athena cabin. The entire Athena cabin was frantically running around the camp searching for the records that they thought might hold vital information; while Katie Gardner yelled at the Stoll brothers about how this wasn't the time for pranks. Clarisse La Rue and Chris Rodriguez were whipping younger campers into fighting shape. Meaning that Clarisse was in full drill sergeant mode making the campers run in full armour all over camp while Chis stood beside her telling her to go easy on the poor kids, while also trying not to laugh.

Leo yelled from his position on the Argos II floating in the middle of camp. He had accidentally lit the mast of the ship on fire and was frantically trying to put it out with his hands. Eventually, a couple naiads from the lake sent a stream of water his way and doused both him and the fire. Some of the other Hephaestus kids jokingly hit his arm and told him not to set any of the other ships on fire. Calypso snorted from her position on one of a dozen ships that looked just like the Argo II floating in a row beside the ship.

On the other side of the world, hundreds of monsters of various sizes and species made their way along a set of train tracks. A set of stone turrets could be seen in the distance.
