Epilogue

The aftermath was a mixture of feelings, both bad and good. Many had died or had been injured. Dean and Seamus's gambit had paid off, even though they had blown up part of the grounds. The attacking army was nothing but piles of dust on the school's grounds or the new-found pit, the Monsters that survived fled into the Forbidden Forest. They had won.

The next couple days were followed by clean up. Percy and the demigods that decided to stay behind helped as much as they could. Percy washed most of the dust away using the lake and Jason used his powers to blow away what Percy could not reach. There was some controversy on what to do with the new hole in the ground Percy suggested that the wizards invest is a swimming pool, one not filled with a giant squid he wasn't quite sure if the Wizards took him seriously.

Eventually, once the clean up was done, it was time to say goodbye. Percy stood by the lake ad the house the Wizards had given him. All the other Demigods had left. Fitting Percy thought since he was the one who began this in the first place. Ron and Hermione, as well as Ginny and Harry, were coming to say goodbye.

"Well this was kinda fun," Percy told Harry.

Harry raised an eyebrow, "There was a war."

"I find all my adventures end with a war, so this wasn't half bad,"

"Well, I hope you won't get offended when I say I'm kinda hoping our paths don't cross again,"

Percy laughed, "I understand," he shook the wizard's hand.

Ron stepped forward and tried to hand Percy the sword he had taken from the Argo II, but Percy shook his head, "Keep it. We have lots, literal sheds full."

Ron smiled before sheathing his new Celestial-bronze sword, "Cool".

Percy looked towards Ginny, "Your one clever lady," he told her, "Harry's a lucky Wizard,"

"Oh, he knows,"
To Hermione, he said, "Annabeth told me to give this to you," he handed her a small sheet of paper. "She says 'email me' you know once you get a chance to visit the Muggle world."

Hermione smiled. A Hellhound emerged from the shadows giving a happy bark and bounding towards Percy. With one last goodbye, Percy climbed onto Ms O'Leary. As the Hellhound ran into the shadows of the Forbidden Forest Percy heard Ron ask what an email was. Percy smiled and as he vanished into the shadows he said goodbye to the Wizarding world.
