Kiera wanted to say she found him, but that was a lie – it was him who found her. He pulled up to curb of his and her house. It was most lily an accident that he was closer to her because once he saw her, he ran away. She was faster than him. Kiera stopped him before he could escape.
"What's wrong with you?" she asked, slamming her hand against his car door shut.
"What's wrong with me?" he roared. "What's wrong with me? What's wrong with you? You have a list on how to get revenge on me?"
She whitened. "You found that?"
"Yeah, I found it. I don't want you to talk to me ever again. I thought what we had was real, but now I see that isn't true."
"What are you talking about?"
"I love you, Kiera. I always have. That's why I destroy everything. Because I don't think I deserve such good things. This one time, I thought I could have something special in my life for once. But I guess that's just not what life wants for me."
He was about to leave when she pulled him towards her house and closed her bedroom door, pushing him onto her bed. She searched through her room until she found a book.
Kiera threw it at him and said, "Read it."
"What is it?"
"My diary. Read it, and you'll know everything."
So he did.
