"Of course you didn't because you left before I could confess."
"I don't know what to say."
"But I do. I'm sorry for everything. I was really angry with you, and I wanted you to feel the hurt I felt when you left."
"And I'm sorry that I left."
"I accepted your apologies the moment you made me feel happy. Now do you accept my apology?"
He hesitated, and then smiled. "There's nothing to apologize for."
"Now come here – I've been wanting to do this for years."
She grabbed the back of his neck and kissed him with everything she had. And he kissed her like she was the only girl in the universe.
