Awkward endings make new beginings

Kylie's POV
(it's the day before the tour)

I'm getting ready for the date that I have with Hayes. We're going to go apple picking. I have on high waisted jeans, a black crop top, a cardigan, and black high top converse.
He pulls up and we drive over to the farm. He has a basket in the back seat since he wanted to have a little picnic there.

Once we get to the farm we find a nice spot to eat. I lay the blanket down an he starts to take things out of the basket. He packed pb&j sandwiches, iced teas, and some doubts. This is all so cute. I take a quick snap of the little picnic before we eat.

We eat pretty quick because we want to pick the apples. After we are done we pack up our thins and leave them in his car. Then we make our way over to the apple orchard.

At the first tree we go to I find an apple I am determined to get but it's way too high for me to reach. Hayes notices and pulls me onto his back and I crawl up onto his shoulders. At this height I grab the apple I had my eyes on. I stay up on his shoulders a bit longer and pick a few more apples that I like. He lowers me down gently and we move on to the next tree.

We spend the entire afternoon there. We laugh an joke around. Hayes even took some Instagram worthy pictures for me. Before we know it the sun is setting. We take this as our cue to leave.

We're both hungry and we decide that we want to eat Chinese and Hayes drives to the closet place. We order and as we wait for our food I decide its the write time to tell Hayes what I've been wanting to say all day.

"Hayes you know how you're leaving for tour tomorrow?" I begin. He nods in response and let's me continue.
"I have really great news. But I have to start with I forgave Daniel. I know you're probably pissed about that but it's was my decision. Anyway I forgave him and yesterday he told me that he was going on that your too."
"I don't see where this is going but I don't think you should have forgiven him that quick. Or at all really."
"Stop. It was my choice. Anyway he and I hung out yesterday and when he told me he was going in tour he asked me to join! I get to go on tour with you!" I exclaim.

Thanks to Daniel I get to be with Hayes. It would have been really hard to be apart especially since we are still so early in our relationship.

"Kylie that's amazing!" he says and get up to hug me. This gets me so excited. Plus no school. Well I still have to do online so I don't fall behind but still. We eat and enjoy the rest of our night. It's not sad since I get to go with him around the country.

After dinner he drops me off to my house. He kisses me in the cheek before I head inside to get some sleep. I need to be at the airport bright and early tomorrow morning after all.

(Day of tour)

My alarm rings at 4:30 in the morning. Our flight leaves at 6:00 in the morning. I throw on some black adidas leggings and black Adidas sweatshirt on with my superstars. I felt like going all out on Adidas that morning okay? I quickly braid my hair into pigtails and throw on a white hat I got from Forever 21.

Daniel is at my house at 5:00 to pick me up and take me to the airport with him. The car is filled with our things. It still doesn't seem like I'm going on this tour. The whole car ride talks to me about how much he loves touring an his favorites parts. He gets really worked up about it and it's really adorable.

Once we get to the airport I try to look for Hayes but I can't see him anywhere. I didn't want to ask Daniel if he knew because that just seemed like it would make things awkward.

Instead we end up boarding the plane at 6:00 like we're supposed to and I don't mention Hayes at all. I wonder where he is thigh. He is supposed to be on this flight.

It takes us a while to get to the first stop for the tour, Chicago. Getting off the plane I still see no sign of Hayes but I am greeted by a crowd of fans. Some of them give me dirty looks for breaking up with Daniel, I announced it on my twitter, while others greet me with warm smiles. Girls crowd Daniel so get a picture and surprisingly some people want a picture with me too. This seems to be out of nowhere.

There is a car waiting for me and Daniel once we leave the airport to take us to the hotel where we will be meeting up with all the talent and crew for the tour. Hayes will for sure be there, I think to myself.

The drive isn't long and we arrive at the Hotel quick. In the lobby we see a bunch of people who are supposed to be on the tour and walk up to them still no sign of Hayes.

The tour manager begins to talk.
"Hello everyone I'm going to start. Some of our talent is running late due to traffic but they will be here in time for our first show." He means Hayes.
"We hope you all enjoy yourselves on the tour but let's not forget that we do this to make the fans happy. You can find your room assignments at the front desk." He finishes.

I walk over and see that I'm supposed to room with a new comer talent named Mikayla. Hopefully she's nice. I grab the room key and head up.

When the door swing open I walk in and see a suitcase already there. There is a tan girl with chestnut hair and hazel eyes. She smiles at me and holds her hand out. I shake it.

"Hi! I'm Mikayla. You can call me Kay though." She says.
"Hi, I'm Kylie. I also go by Ky." I respond. We settle in and talk for a while. She is a really nice person and we're going to be sharing a room the entire tour. We'll defiantly become good friends by the end of this.

Time flies by fast because the next thing we know we need to be at the venue for the event. I walk there with Mikayla and we part ways since she needs to head to the meet and greet line while I go to the merch stand. I'm folding a Daniel Skye sweatshirt when I look up and see Hayes. It's about time.

I finishing folding and run over to him. I jump into his arms and we hug like that for a bit. I get back to the ground and kiss him on the cheek. We're talking and laughing and when I turn my head I see Daniel next to us just staring blankly.

It never occurred to me that Daniel didn't actually know yet. I turn to face Daniel.
"Oh, hey Daniel. I probably should have told you before but umm well...I'm dating Hayes now." I say and hug Hayes once again. He has his arms wrapped around me. I turn to Daniel again and see the hit in his eyes.
"You're dating Hayes?"

ATTENTION THIS IS THE LAST CHAPTER!!!! I REPEAT THIS IS THE LAST CHAPTER OF SKYE GONE BAD. THIS SKYE HAS GONE BACK TO BEING GOOD! I'll post I little reflection on this book in the morning but guys don't worry. There is a sequel in the making. The sequel will pretty much be about them on tour and how things end up working out between Kylie, Hayes and Daniel. I'll make sure to keep you guys updated for when I release it. I hope that you guys liked this book and will go on to read the sequel.
