~Chapter 6~

"Hey Micheal!" Elle and I say in a unison as we sit down at the lunch table. "What's up guys." Micheal replies as he puts his homework in his back pack. "Nothing much. But why were you sitting alone like this?" Elle asks Micheal. "Well. I was just studying and no one else was here I guess today.." Micheal explains. I nod my head.

"Wassup guys!" Layla says as she sits down with a cheerful smile. "Wow you seem very happy today." Micheal says as he smiles at Layla. "Of course! I get to see all of my best friends." Layla replies. "Well that's good. Cutie." Micheal says as he ruffles Layla's hair. Layla widens her eyes and her cheeks turn a light pink.

Elle and I smile at each other. This was perfect! Micheal and Layla were bonding..

"Hey Elle.." Luke says as he comes to the table. "Hey Lukie." Elle says as she smiles at him. "So you two officially a thing now?" Micheal asks. "What do you mean? He hasn't asked me out." Elle says as she looks down embarrassed already. "Shall I? I'm gonna make it special.." Luke says before pecking Elle on the cheek. "Aww so cute!" Layla says as she holds her cheeks in amazement.

I glare at Luke but he doesn't seem to notice it what so ever at all. "Yo everyone!" Adam says as he sits down and wraps his arm around me. "Hey my man!" Micheal yells. All of a sudden Adam squeezes my butt and I smack him on the shoulder. "I'm you're boyfriend and yet you're still being feisty eh?" Adam whispers in my ear. "What can I say? It's my personality." I whisper back.

"Hey guys! So I'm inviting you all to a party!" Faye says as she hands us all invitation letters. I open mine up and look at it. "Fancy you making letters." Adam says as he reads his. "Mhm. I like to be unique." Faye says as she twirls her hair around her finger.

Faye's Karaoke 🎉 Party!

Come to the "Washibobi Karaoke" at Kount Center!

It'll be a blast. At 8:30 PM see you all there!

I sigh as I read the invitation. "We should go. Since both Micheal and Layla are gonna be there." Elle whispers into me ear. I nod in agreement. Then I look at Adam. He raises his eyebrows and I stick my tongue out. "Lets all hope you guys can sing! Because It's at a karaoke place!" Faye says as she smiles at all of us. We all nod in agreement.

"Why a party all of a sudden though?" Micheal asks curiously. "It's just for fun! I mean only eight of us are invited." Faye explains. "Eight? There's only seven of us at this table currently." Layla replies. "I know! And I have a childhood friend who's moving back into town. I decided to invite him too since he going to come to school here he's gonna need some friends too." Faye explains. We all nod understandingly. "Hm.. I don't know.. I'm unsure about this "New Friend" don't people change over the years?" Micheal says going against Faye's words.

"What do you mean? He isn't just a New Friend. He's just the same as when we were 12 years old. Except taller and a deeper voice." Faye argues back. Micheal sighs. "Fine. Whatever."

I smirk at Adam. "Hmm seems your favorite couple are going into fights eh?" I whisper to Adam. He rolls his eyes. "Their just fine. They'll forget about it by the time we get to the karaoke party anyways!" Adam argues back to me.

The bell rings out of nowhere. "See you guys at Washibobi Karaoke!" Faye says before all of us going separate ways to class.

After school Layla, Elle, and I go to my house to get ready for the party. "Tonight's the night we get Micheal to kiss you." Elle says as she fixes Yeri hair for her. "Wait what?! But he's still dating Faye!" Layla says in confusion. "Yes.. but Faye's feelings aren't real for Micheal. And she'll be distracted by her friend coming into town anyways." Elle explains the plan.
