I'm actually kind of surprhised that almost nobody noticed the cap. Amy didn't, carter didn't. Only my friends. I got some news from carter. He said that they found somebody to train ice with me. Her name is Kylie. Well it will be good to have another girl to hang with. I tried to star clear of Jessica and Annie today. After school when I was headed to corleans, Annie was there. Without Jessica. She looked sad. I tried to resist the urge to go over there but I was'nt heartless. "Hey Annie are you ok?" I asked her politely. "Why would it matter to you?" "look. I know your not a bad person. You're just following Jessica." "its nothing really." "trust me. That's the face I make when Jessica abuses me. Something was wrong." "I'm not comfortable sharing just yet." "ok. Well whatever it is, don't let it get you down. I had to learn that the hard way." I stood up to leave but then she called my name. "Angela?" she said with a questioning tone. "Can you help me with something?" "sure what is it?" I asked her while I came back to sit down. "I want to stand up to Jessica. She gives me lots of things but she treats me like a slave." "I can help, but I can't do it for you. That part is you." "ok. I just need to know how I can stand up when she turns me down all the time" "ok how about we meet here just you and me at five o'clock." "ok I can do that." I left and went to the entryway. When I got to the field I saw a girl with pretty long brown hair and green eyes. "Hi my name is Kylie." so this is my ice trainer. "Hi, Angela." " so, your the girl in the prophecy huh." "I guess so." "2 powers?" "yeah" "well lets get started. First thing is freezing something, like water." she brought a cup of water. I focused on it and it froze. "Not bad for your first try." "really?" "yeah. A far so good." carter came over to check on us. "Oh hey carter." Kylie said in a flirtatious tone. "Hey Kylie. So how's the training going?" "pretty well she was able to freeze a glass of water really easily and it isn't super easy for begginers." carter noded his head and came over to me. He smiled then said "how's it going for you?" I smiled back and said "pretty well. I froze a cup if you haven't noticed." "that's good. Now try to heat it back into water. I loomed I to his blue eyes, smiled, then focused. I easily turned it back into water. "Good job Angela." Carter said while looking into my eyes. I could see Kylie standing out of the corner of my eye with her arms crossed.
