chapter 6

Justin's p.o.v.

I just got off the phone with Austin he had to go to the hospital because his kidney hurt really bad so it turns out he got a kidney stone the same day I had my surgery. I know he said not to ask my dad to let me go see him but I need to make sure he's ok because it's not normal for someone his age to have kidney stones. I know I should rest but he's more important to me so I get up and go talk to my dad
"Hey dad can you take me up to the hospital Austin is in the hospital rn"
"Is he ok? Did he get in an accident or something??" My dad asked
"I don't exactly know if he's completely ok he has a kidney stone and has to have emergency surgery now" I said
"Sure but you better rest tonight and be careful while up there and plz take your meds with you" he said
"Thank you dad"
"No problem son"
*time skip*
I finally arrived at the hospital Austin told me what room he's in so I head to his room and knock on his door "come in" I hear him say half awake probably from the meds, I walk in and set my little bag on the floor in
a corner and walk over and hug him "I told you to stay home mister" he said "I know but I'm worried about you" Austin slides over and raises the bed and I climb in next to him. I put my head on his chest and he wraps his arms around me carefully. You would think with me being older I'm taller then him and all that but in reality I'm short compared to him.
"You're short Justin but I love you just the way you are " Austin said kissing my head
"You're tall Austin but I love you just the way you are " I said sitting up carefully and kissing him. Eventually they admitted Austin to the pediatric side of the hospital because the rest of the hospital was full. About 20 minutes later they come back to get him for surgery and me and his mom go back with him to talk to the doctor and wait until they give him the stuff to make him go to sleep (I forgot what they gave me honestly oops) I watched him as his eyes grew heavier but he didn't fall asleep but they finally rolled him back to the operating room and he was still awake.
