Justin's pov:
I went downstairs to talk to my mom about Raegan visiting. I was scared but I have to try. I want to be happy for once in a long time.
I see her on the couch on her phone. I go sit down on the couch keeping a little of distance.
Me: Mom can I talk to you?
Mom: Sure Justin.
She puts her phone down and looks at me.
Mom: So you remember thay kid Raegan you blocked off my contacts?
Mom: Yea....
Me: Well I kind of got his number back off of Insta and we have been talking.
Mom: Justin I told you to talk to some girls won't you?
Me: N-no mom I don't want to.
Mom: *sighs* alright well you can talk to Raegan I guess but it cant get serious.
Me: *smiles* Ok mom.
Mom: Anything else you want?
Me: Umm...yea. C-can he come visit for a while?
Mom: You mean like he would stay in our house?
Me: Yea
Mom: I don't think so Justin.
Me: Please Mom!
Mom: No Justin that's too much.
Me: MOM HE MAKES ME HAPPY. I HAVEN'T BEEN HAPPY IN SO LONG. WHY CAN'T YOU LET ME SEE RAEGAN AND BE HAPPY?
Mom: I SAID NO JUSTIN!
I run upstairs in a fit of tears. I jump on my bed and cry into my hands. If only I saw Raegan I would be happy. But my mom doesn't want me to be happy. My phone goes off and I look at it. It was hard to see the screen because of the tears in my eyes. I wiped them away and saw the text.
Raegan: My mom said it was fine Jay how about your mom?
Me: She said no because she doesn't like me and doesn't want me to be happy 😭😭
Raegan: I'm sure that's not the reason Justin. But okay maybe when we are older. 😯
Me: No im not waiting until when we are older. I want you here so I'm not giving up on you just yet.

I get up the next morning. I don't want go to to school but I need to. I get ready and go downstairs to eat breakfast. While I'm eating a poptart, I get a text message.
Raegan: I really hope you have a good day today Justin. I wish I was there to protect you 😔. If you need anything text or call me I'll answer no matter what I'm doing!
Me: Thank you Rae that means a lot! ❤
Raegan: Anytime ❤
I get my keys and head out to my car. I drive to school and once I arrive I run into school. I wanted to avoid all the bullied today. I try everyday but it always fails 😩. The bell rings and I go my first class. No one has bothered me yet. Let's see how long that lasts.
Time skip to lunch
I was practically running to lunch becassee I didn't want that kid to bother me. I found out his name is Alex. Ugh I hate him. Anyway I made it to lunch and I got my food. As I was eating by myself a kid sits across from me. I didn't want to look up. I didn't want it to be Alex. I looked up and it was a girl I never saw before. She smiled at me and I smiled back.
Me: Hey are you new? I never saw you.
Taylor: Yea I am. My name is Taylor.
She put her hand out for me to shake it. I did.
Me: I'm Justin.
Taylor: I saw you sitting by yourself. Do you have any friends?
Me: Umm...No I don't.
Taylor: Well you do now *smiles*
I smile at her and we talk about random things as we eat. She was pretty to be honest. I'm surprised she came up to me. As we were talking Alex and another kid came up to her. She turned around.
Alex: Taylor why are you talking to this loser?
Taylor: He's not a loser Alex!
I kept my head down. It was sweet she was sticking up to me though.
Alex: He's transgender and gay.
She looked at me. I looked up at her and back down at my lap.
Taylor: That doesn't make him a loser. We just talked for a while and he is a sweet kid. We are friends and I support him so why don't you just leave him alone and don't touch him again!
Alex: Wow Taylor I thought you were cool. Now your hanging with this little gay girl.
I look up with tears in my eyes. I see Taylor look at me and then she slaps Alex.
Taylor: DON'T YOU EVER TALK ABOUT JUSTIN LIKE THAT AGAIN!
She laughs and grabs my hand and takes of out of the lunch room. We go by her locker and she let's go of my hand.
Me: Wow! T-thank you
Taylor: No problem. I hate people who don't support trans and gay people. And you, are are adorable you don't deserve that.
Me: Thank you so much Taylor.
I hug her and she hugs back. The bell rings and we say goodbye and go to our class.
Time skip to after school
Wow! No one bothered me for the rest of the day. Taylor is really sweet.
I go upstairs and text Rae.
Me: Rae I had a great day. There was a new girl today and she stood up for me and no one bothered me today!
Raegan: That's great Justin. I have to go to a family dinner so I will text you tomorrow morning 😊❤
Me: Ok Rae 🙂❤❤
