Twenty eight weeks
I sat in the recliner trying to catch my breath. Seven months is rough. Two more months to go. The house was huge. And I was getting there. It only took a week for Wright to make buddies with the right hand. There was another classic car collector coming out today to look at the classics. After selling one we were able to repair the barn. The ranch hands liked having a sturdier place for their horses and equipment. Next is all of the water tanks scattered around the property.
The two men came in. My husband kissing me and Jason saying hello. I tried to sit up better. "Oh the author has been trying to see how your pregnancy is going. I refused to give her your number for the simple fact that she'd bug you all hours of the day. She wants to see if your belly is big enough for her cover to be made." Wright said. Jason is the only one that knows about that.
"Not full size until thirty two weeks. And you can add two weeks to that to be safe. And as for if I go into labor early what's the plan? I know we have everything ready to go just in case I give birth early but what if it's before the photo shoot?" I asked. "She does have a point Wright. Pregnancies are unpredictable. She could go into labor at any given moment and the contractions won't be fake when her water breaks." Jason said.
"As long as I'm not stressed out anymore than I am right now I'm good." I said. "That's the best thing for right now." Jason said. "I know baby. This is stressing me out too. With how fast we moved in and the pressure of the ranch. Along with you being this far long in the pregnancy. I don't know what to do." Wright said. "Wright. Your going to be a new father. This is usual for one. I'll talk to the guys and see what they can do to help out. I was once in your shoes too boy." Jason said.
"I've got to get started making dinner. And I know I'm going to need a set of strong arms to help me." I said. Wright immediately helped me up and followed me to the kitchen. I started filling a pot on the stove for pasta while Wright was cutting chicken up. I was super close to waddling. "Baby you look cute when you walk." Wright said smirking. "Oh do I? Why don't you walk out of the kitchen and go call the men for dinner." I said. "Yes ma'am." He said. As he walked by I popped him on the butt with the dish towel.
"You'll love payback baby." He yelled. I chuckled. Oh he looks good in those Levi's. Once they were all inside Jason got their attention. He was more or less talking to them about ranch work. Several were looking over at Wright and I. I felt a little uncomfortable but brushed it off knowing Jason was trying his best with them. After dinner several stayed back to talk to Wright. A man pulled up in a truck with a trailer behind it. "Wright." I called.
In seconds my husband was behind me. "That must be the collector from Vegas." He said. "Stay in the house. I'll be back after negotiating." I nodded as he exited. Then watched as him and the man shook hands before going to the garage where the classics are kept. "We'll see you in the morning for breakfast Mrs. Presley." One of the hands said. "Sleep well." I said. He nodded before leaving. I went to the gym and started walking.
After what felt like minutes I was tired. I got in the shower sitting on the bench giving myself a bath. A knock came to the door before Wright stepped in. He immediately started stripping his clothes and joining me. "Here let me baby." He said taking the rag from me. I let him scrub my back and between my legs before my legs and under my breasts. They were growing bigger in size thanks to the pregnancy.
"Did I tell you how beautiful you look today?" He asked. I smiled leaning back against him. "You do every day." I said. He kissed my cheek. "Because I want my wife to know how radiant she looks while carrying my child." He said. I moved my legs apart a bit more as he ran the rag back over that area. "Still sensitive to that?" He asked. I nodded. He then slipped his fingers inside. One arm holding me against him as he made me feel good.
"I love you baby." He said. "I love you too Wright."
