*Eleanor's P.O.V*

"your bed is already made." Simon said to me as i walked inside his house. I nodded, biting my lip and looking around. his house was quite tidy, too big for my comfort. It made me feel quite small. i always hated that feeling.

"how was the ride here-"

"i'm not here for small talk Simon, we both know that." i whispered, grabbing the railing of the staircase. he nodded, slipping the strap of my backpack over his shoulder. "first bedroom to your right."

the hall was narrow, filled with closed doors and bright ceiling lights. his house was the perfect kind, already from what i could tell. only the perfect family could live in here. I already knew from the second i walked inside, he had set his room for me.

From the posters on the walls to the sheets of his bed and the books that filled those blue shelves, it was his bedroom.

Simon dropped my bags to the floor, "you didn't have to give me your bedroom." i whispered. he pushed his thick wayfarer glasses up the bridge of his nose. "i wanted to." he smiled.

"i guess i'll leave you to-"

"when will your mom be home?" at first his back was to me. his fingers clenched against the palm of his hand, and his body tensed but slowly softened. "why?"
"just wondering simon....calm down not gonna ruin your goody goody reputation."

he scoffed.

"we're not going to this against Eleanor." he turned to me.

My arms folded over my chest.

"And why is that?"

"you don't want to have to leave again...do you?" i rolled my eyes.

"Don't you have chess club?"

"Don't you have friends?"

"Fuck you." i hissed.

"Not likely." He then left the room, slamming the door shut behind him.

Explaining my relationship with Simon is not worth it.

we are not of relation, if we were it would be more of a hell than it already is. Maybe if i didn't owe him, i wouldn't be here right now.

i walked to the bed, feeling my phone begin to buzz against my thigh.

i smiled, swiping it immediately, "well look who finally decides to answer." said Nate, and i could practically hear his smirk.

"oh how i missed that humor." i sighed.

"heard you were in town."

"you heard right."

"then when can i see you?" Nate said.

"Sunday night, what are you doing?"
"throwing a party, you remember the place don't you?"

"mhm."
"then i hope you show, a little early too."

i smiled, "i'll be there."
"good, see you then babe."

i hung up, locking the door to the bedroom and unlocking the window, pushing my foot out.

*Shawn's P.O.V.*

"this is going to be amazing." Cameron said with a smile, sitting on my bed.

i stared out my window, which ever so easily could let me peer into simon's. thats where the girl stood. or where she once stood. she opened up the window, with little to no strength,

pushing herself through.

she then jumped into the tree, sliding down.

soon enough she was gone.

"SHAWN!" mahogany screamed as i jumped.

she scoffed, "damn dude, whats got you in a trance?" she snapped her fingers in m face.

"nothing, can we just get this entire party thing over with?" Cameron rolled his eyes, twirling his keys in his hands. "fine."

Cameron handed me a Clear glasses, smiling.
"Drink up kid." He said, patting my back.

I rolled my eyes, pushing it back to his chest.

"Rather not, I'm always the designated driver." Cameron rolled his eyes.
"Whatever." He said, chugging down the liquid in one large gulp.

Mahogany's hand wrapped around his neck, pulling him close.
"I'm gonna get more to drink." She called over the music, slipping away from the two of us.

I never often left Cameron at parties.

He always got drunk or maybe caught up in the wrong thing at the wrong time.

He just attracts trouble.

"CAMMY!" We heard a familiar voice call out.

"AND SHAWNY!" a hand wrapped around my neck, pulling me close.

"And there he is, the man of the night." I smiled, nate ruffling his fingers through my hair.

"Why thank you boys....enjoying it?" Nate ran his fingers within his dark hair.

"Oh yes."I said with sarcasm spilling from my lips.
"I know shawn... now if you'd excuse me I've got a party to run." Nate smiled, slipping away through the crowd.

Ever so easily I got bored. Tired sitting around, tired waiting.
Cameron and Mahogany had finally disappeared. Might I add, disappeared into a bedroom.

And I wasn't planning on following then there.

The cold leather of the couch tickled my bare skin as I laid against it.

I moved far to the edge, away from the drunk couple practically swallowing each other beside me.

My eyes roamed the party, hoping for a familiar face, or something, someone who could keep me company.

But I only found nate.

He was close to a girl, backing her up against the wall.

The lighting was bad in the room, flickering slightly but I knew who it was, who she was.

his hands pressed to her waist, pressing his lips hard against her neck. her head sligtly rolled back, in what i assumed was pleasure, biting her lip and pushing her head to the side, giivng him much more access.

her eyes began to open, beautiful green orbs that swirled of orange and grey, opening and closing rather quickly.

I looked away almost immediately, feeling someone grab me.
"Stalker much?" Cameron said as I jumped.
"Fuck you." I hissed, he slipped beside me, patting my shoulder.

"Seems she has relation to nate."
"I don't think that's a good thing." I whispered.

"HEY NATE!" Cameron yelled.
"Cameron what the hell? Shut up-"
"COME HERE!"

Nate whispered something into her ear, pushing something into her hand.

The girl stared deep into my eyes, pushing the cigarette between her pink lips, slipping away into the darkness.

"Hey nate, tell me about the babe you were with." Cameron smirked as nate leaned over us.

"Ahh eleanor yeah? She's a doll." Nate pat my shoulder.

"Tell us about her, she's what to you?"

"She's my girlfriend." I gasped.

"Girlfriend? Girlfriend?? You're not serio-"

"Hell yeah, we go way back."
