Just as predicted, the Tower was soon swarming with Guards from different places. The first ones to arrive was the Canadian Guards. Their uniforms resembled our own. We were all lined up, ready to respectfully greet them to our home. They marched in, in lines, formations. Marching.

It wasn't long before the Japanese Guards arrived afterwards. In their Samurai suits, with the katanas attached to their hips.

One of the Guards behind me leaned over and whispered to the other, "Hot damn, those look bulky."

It took a while for the rest of the Guards to arrive, and by then, it was nearly sundown. The last to arrive was the Romanian's. The Tower was filled with Guards. Each unit was lined up with their countries. All ten units and we were all faced to the front of the school.

On the steps stood ten leaders. Including Skylar.

"Good evening, everyone," she spoke, and every Guard went quiet at the sound of her voice. Behind Skylar, stood Del, with her spear, looking as stern as ever. I never liked her. "My name is Skylar Nova. I am the Countess of the United States Elysian House. As you all are well aware, Riley Jackson is the next host of the Darkness. And it has been decided that we will aid her in her journey to eliminate Snow. So that is why you're all here. You will all be assigned to a job that will help our cause to find Ms. Jackson and help her."

She turns back to Count William, Count of the Canada Elysian House. He had his arms behind his back and his large chest was protruding out proudly.

His jaw was clenched tightly as his eyes went across the crowd carefully, before he spoke. "My name is William Roy. I am the Count of the Canada Elysian House. I've gathered intel of the whereabouts of Ms. Jackson." He began, which immediately peaked my interest and my full attention was on him as soon as I heard the words in my ears. "The research that the U.S Tower gathered gave us confirmation that the host of the Darkness often prefers colder environments, which means that she has fled somewhere with ice."

Someone behind me snickered and whispered, "My cousin visited the ice caps and claimed she saw a Yeti up there once."

Small laughs could be heard behind me before someone, thankfully, shushed the two. I looked back, silently sending a glare to the pair behind me. I looked over at the woman who had shushed them and she sent me a smile.

"And we have someone here who will guide us to Ms. Jackson and find the path we need to follow in order to complete our mission," he said. "The mysterious Child of Knowledge will tell us where to go and what to do."

My shoulders bunched up in anger. Winter seemed to sense my anger because she looked into the crowd, right at me and I bared my teeth at her. She looked away almost instantly. How dare they! They can't use the goddamn kid to kill his sister

"On this day, as we stay with the United States Elysian House, we will follow and respect the rules of Skylar Nova's domain and those who reside here. Anybody who has a problem with that will be sent back home and dealt with."

"Viola," Olivia was warning me, but I didn't pay any mind to her words. I marched straight to the top of the Tower, ignoring any and all orders sent by my superiors. Del was up at the top of the Tower as well and when she saw me, and saw Olivia trying to get my attention, she turned toward us.

"Something the matter?" She questioned, looking straight at me with a calm, even look.

"Move," I demanded, since she was in the way of Winter's door and I would be damned if she was going to stop me from getting to Winter.
