PLEASE READ!!
Hi, I haven't posted an Author's Note in a long time, but I had a question I wanted to ask.
I was thinking of creating a sort of "season two" of this universe type deal. But it wouldn't circulate around Riley and Viola anymore, but Snow and Adelene. Or more specifically the reincarnation of the two of them.
Basically what I'm asking is is this something you'd like to see?

Skylar
"Skylar!" Del's voice was following me down the hall, calling my name for the past minute now, but I refused to turn around to face her. I simply pushed through the door to my office and nearly slammed the door shut, but Del caught the door in her hand and stopped me from slamming it shut. "Skylar, you cannot fight Count Constantine."
"Funny, I'm pretty sure I'm the ruler here," I say, keeping my back turned to Del. I was not interested in whatever she had to say. It was pointless, I was going to fight this Count because I was angry with his attitude toward me since he'd arrived.
I turn to Del when she doesn't speak for a minute and I find she is frowning at me.
"Skylar, what is wrong? You've been acting differently for the past few days now and I'm concerned for you."
"You shouldn't be," I tell her. "I'm finally becoming the ruler I'm supposed to be."
She shakes her head, as she takes a step closer, further into my office. I can see the cut on her forehead. The red has gone away and it wasn't swollen anymore, but the stitches still stuck out and made me flinch when I looked at them.
"It's hard to see the difference between you and this ruler lately."
"It's because there is no difference, Del," I didn't tell her the real reason I was so upset. It's true I was becoming very irritable lately and I was discarding anything Del had to say. There was a reason for my mood, and it was plain and simple what it was.
Count William suggested we get married as soon as possible, so we may possibly bring the Canadian High Council into this mess, and they could offer their assistance if they knew the Counts were married. It was a good idea, and while I knew who my mate was, I also knew that I had to keep her alive.
So it was decided we'd be married sometime this month.
And I didn't want to.
But I wasn't going to tell Del this, and I wasn't going to tell her that she was my mate either. It was best now that we keep our relationship purely business. I know it's long since abandoned that time, when we were only business and nothing personal. We'd become too close for that, but now it was time we bring back those traditions I used to despise and Del used to uphold.
Looks like the tables have turned.
Del's hand on my arm brought me back. She is standing closer to me now, towering over me with her incredible height. She is looking down at me, black eyes intense and burning into mine. "What's the matter, Skylar? I can tell there is something."
As much as I wanted to lean into her touch, beg her to hold me, and confess every reason I couldn't sleep at night, I did the opposite. I stepped out of her touch and walked around my desk to take a seat, with my legs crossed under the desk. I clicked my pen as I pulled forward several documents I had yet to look over.
"Del, it's best you and I just talk about business. There is a lot of it right now and I need your help with training the humans. We need eyes on every perimeter in case Snow decides to send more Bittens here. And we also need to find a place Ricky and his mother can rest safely. It is also best to get into contact with Riley's father as soon as possible. Please, speak with Riley about that."
