The bright sun came in through my window waking me up. Stupid sun, waking me up every morning. I groan as I roll out of bed and listen to what is going on around me. I can hear the chitter chatter of the other lost boys in their rooms, that are next to mine, getting ready for training today.

Today is the day some people get their first assignment. As Lost Boys we travel from Neverland back to normal life to collect boys that are lost. We don't search for Lost Girls because they are very rare and they are mythical. This time it is going to be my turn to get an assignment! At least I hope I do, I've only heard rumors of the boys who are getting an assignment. I know that I am ready for an assignment because I've trained hard, harder than any lost boy and so hopefully my day to shine has finally come.

I come out of my room seeing a pack of younger boys crowding the hallway. I smile down at them as they walk past, clearing the hall as they try to walk in a group together. I walk out of my doorway, following behind them as we all head to breakfast. Once we get to the dining hall the boys turn right heading to their table as I continue walking forward towards the table I share with my friend Jacob and a couple other Lost Boys. As I get nearer to the table the boys start to wave, I wave back and say 'hi' as I take a seat. I grab an empty plate from the middle and reach into the bowl that seems empty but I see some fruit in it. I then look down at my plate and realize that it wasn't empty but had cinnamon roll pancakes on it. I smile as I dig into my food.

After finishing my breakfast I head out of the dining room head to fighting training, which is always a pain in the neck, literally. I have learned everything from Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to Western boxing. I remembered that today is Muay Thai, it involves different style kicks, as well as the knee to elbow movement. I walk into the training room acting like I own the place, but that is because I practly do. I walk over to the corner of the room and set up my dummy to practice my moves on. Once we all feel warmed up, we meet in the center of the room to start the fights against each other. We each hold a place in each type of fighting, I hold first in all the types we learn in Neverland, because I focus on my movement, my thoughts and I also can tell what move my opoinet will do. I was the first to be challenged because one boy thought he could take my place as first. He was wrong. I was challenged four other times and went up against each one. The last challenge was my hardest fight. The kid who challenged me looked to have a much harder kick then me and all my other opponents. I gulp as I get ready to start the fight. The second the whistle is blown the kid kicks at my left knee and it gives out. Standing with one leg out and my left knee on the ground, I look for the weakness in my opponent. He is hard on his feet, arms tucked into himself. He jumps around preparing for me to stand up. As I notice that he is about to jump closer to me to kick me again, I jab my elbow into his knee. He growls at me and lifts his leg to kick me but I drop to the ground and roll to the other side. I quickly stand back up, favoring my right leg, but still light on my toes. The kid slowly turns around and comes back at me, but I am ready and roundhouse kick him in the face. His face goes sideways and he stubbles back. Not giving him a chance to regain his balance I quickly swip his feet out from underneath him, causing him to fall over. I get back in my ready position, seeing if he will get back up.

"You win Warner," he kid growls at me, hatred in his eyes.

I nod my head as I drop my stance. I head back over to my corner to grab a towel and decide that I'm down with fighting for the day. So I walk towards the door leaving the rest of the Lost Boys in the training room and head to weapon 101. I wanted to do some shooting.

The walk to weapon 101 is a short one. I step through the door that leads to the range at look to see how many people are there. I count twelve, and that is with counting myself. I smile as I head over to were the weapons are during training days. I look for a paintball gun but instead I find crossbows, spears, some swords, a flamethrower and a few guns but no paintball gun. Which means there are more kids in weapon 101 then I counted and they are off playing paintball without me. I frown but pick up a crossbow and head over to the archery range. I go to the target that doesn't have anyone shooting at it and let lose some bows. As I shoot I think about what kind of assignment I would hopefully get. All too soon my fasticy is cut but the bell for lunch. I sigh and go take my crossbow back to where I grabbed it from and head to lunch.
