After leaving Peter Pan's office I decide on walking around to think about my upcoming assignment. Whenever a Lost Boy I passed by me, they always seemed to walk a tad bit faster, just to avoid me. I can see why they would want to avoid me, I was grumbling and had my hand clenched into fists. There were those couple Lost Boys who actually tried to say "hi" to me or ask me what is wrong. I would either grunt in response or simply say "nothing" and then their friends would pull them away. Then there were those people who would be walking slow, it took everything in me not to ram into them and knock them all over. When I finally had enough of walking around I head to my bedroom. When I reach my door, I quickly opened it, and walk in. Instead of closing my door softly or how I normally would I turn around and kicked the door, hard. It slams shut with a pleasing sound. I smile at the sound but frown when I notice the hole I put in it. I shrug my shoulders and get on with my business because I simply did not care. To be completely honest I wanted to put a hole in Peter Pan's door, why did I have to go after some stupid lost girl. She can't even be that important!

I drag my feet as I go to my closet, to pull out my duffle bag. I pack a week's worth of clothes, hopefully, this would be a quick trip and no longer than a week or so. I smile at the thought of my first assignment being quick and easy. After stuffing my clothes into my bag, I add a gun and a dagger. Just before I zip up my bag I neatly put Raina's file on top of everything. I place my bag by my door and plop down on my bed to think.

I shake my head in disbelief at the fact that I'm going after a Lost Girl. Me a Lost Boy going after a stupid Lost Girl. Why did I have to be the one to get the assessment to find the Lost Girl? I mean, I've heard myths of other Lost Girls why couldn't they go and get her? I hate my life! I still cannot believe Peter Pan thinks I am the right person for this job! I mean shouldn't I have a Lost Boy as my first job then let me have the Lost Girl! I would still be mad if that had happened but in a lot less disbelief because Peter Pan is sending a Lost Boy on his first assignment that is to get someone who is supposedly really important.

AN: Hey my little Pixies! I hope you enjoyed this new and improved version of Chapter 2. Also, you guys are going to be getting a lot of updates for this book because writing this book and editing it happens to be apart of some of my school homework, which does kinda suck but it finally got me to finish writing it, which is a good thing!
