POV Warner
I saw Raina bend down to open the door to Pixie Hollow, but as she touched the door, she vanished from sight. I had felt my heart speed up in the slightest way; stupid fairy magic always blocking out the real world.
"Raina? Are you still here?" I asked in a quiet voice.
I wait a few minutes for an answer and get nothing. I stare at the open space in the wall, trying to give me a hint of anything, and I see it. A bright figure moves and I think that it is Raina. But the figure is gone too soon, leaving me alone again. I feel my heart start to ache, and it feels like loneliness. I slide down the wall in absolute defeat from the fairies, waiting for Raina to turn up. I know that I will have to wait forever but I don't want to miss her coming back through the door. As I think of the door, it shows back up. I let out a sigh and lean my head against the wall. Time to wait for who knows how long.
