POV Rania

After the weirds events from dinner, I head back to my room thinking of the past, and that was something I rather not bring up. I thought of my parents but didn't dwell too long on them, and went to thinking about all the friends I had had when I was younger before I became a misery to be around. When I had first come to the orphanage I was one of the girls everyone wanted to be friends with but after being returned to the orphanage multiple times, within my first year of being here, I gave up hope of finding new parents and I became negative. I had a roommate when I was six but she had wanted out of the room after my change in mood but before she could switch rooms she was adopted. I am the forgotten lost girl.

As I'm about to go into my room I hear footsteps coming running down the hall, "Goodnight, Raina!" a deepish voice calls to me. I turned around to find Warner waving to me, with a smile on his face. I give a small wave back with a polite smile, "Goodnight, Warner, see you tomorrow." As I turned back towards my door I could hear Warner congratulating himself on getting me to be a little bit happier, and I shake my head at the thought, no one can make me real happy again. Walking into my room and closing the door I walk over to my little nightstand were there are two necklaces Madame Darling gave to me. She had told me that they would decide my destiny. One had a hand hook charm and the other had a charm which Madame Darling called the Pan flute. She had told me a story to go with each but that story is long gone from my mind, having heard the story when I was much younger.

I zoned out staring at the necklaces but am brought back by a soft knock, I look back at my door and call out, "Yes, who is it?"

"Madame Darling," a sweet voice called back.

"Come in," I called to her.

"Hello, my dear. How are you doing?" She questions me as I gently place the necklaces back on my nightstand.

I shrug my shoulders as I turn back towards her, "Okay, I guess."

"Okay, you guess?" she asks and I just nod my head at her.

"Let me guess, you are having a boy problem?" she says with a slight smirk playing on her lips.

"No," I quickly state, but regret it as she gives me a knowing smirk. I had replied to quickly. I turn around back to my nightstand and look at my necklaces. They were simple but cute but I never wore them because I was afraid of breaking them.

"Seeing the necklaces actually reminds me of why I am actually here," Madame Darling says right next to my ear making me jump, I turn towards her as she pulls out two more necklaces from her pocket. "Raina, there is a new story I'm going to tell you tonight. So, you better get comfortable."

"Yes, Madame," I say as I start to head to my bed.

"I'm going to brough your other two necklaces too," she informs me.

I nod my head as she picks them up with careful hands. I honestly didn't care that much if she decided to never give them back to me.

When she looks up from the necklaces she sees me stopped in my tracks and gives me a smile, "Don't worry dear, you will be getting them back, I just need them to tell my story."

I just nod my head as I finish my walk to my bed and Madame Darling walks over to the chair by my bed.

She clears her throat as she takes a seat. Once she is comfortable she looks up at me, "Now sit back and listen to a tale that some think to be true. This story is about a girl named Wendy and her two brothers, Michael and John. It was a night like this one bright and starry. Wendy was telling her brothers stories when a shadow loomed over her and her brothers, but Wendy's back was towards the shadow and so her brothers screamed and pointed at the shadow. Wendy turned around in terror.
