Chapter Thirty-Five

*Rebecca's POV*

I felt my face and it was hot, and without even looking in the mirror I knew I had a black eye. Mikey kneed down next to me as soon as I hit the floor. Justin talked first though, "Fuck Rebecca. I didn't mean to I swear-" "Shut up this is your fault." Mikey cut him off. "Oh my god Rebecca. Are you okay? Here, let me help you up." Mikey said as he held onto my arm and helped me to my feet.

My eyes were shut tight, besides the fact that I couldn't fully open my right eye. As Mikey was helping me to the bathroom he said, "I'll deal with you later asshole." I didn't say anything to defend the guy, my friend who just punched me in the eye, and I didn't say anything to make Mikey stop.

As we were walking to the bathroom all the girl ran to me and started asking questions at the same time. "Are you okay?" Angelica asked."What happened?" Abby asked. "What the hell hapened?" Sarah asked and so on...

Mikey gave them brief answers and helped me into the bathroom and sat me down on the closed toilet. "Let me see." He said softy, and placed his fingers on the tip of my chin and lifted my head up towards him. "Shit" He murmured under his breath. "Can you open your eye?" He asked me. "I'll try." I said and tried to open my right eye and I opened it but it hurt really bad.

Mikey looked at me dead in the eyes, and examined it. "At least you can open it." He said and forced a smile. "Is it that bad?" I asked and he held on my arm to help me up to the mirror.

I was right, I had a black eye. It was darkish blue mixed with some green. My eye itself, was a little bit red. I was surprised Justin hit me that hard, although it was accident. "I can't believe it's my fault." Mikey said as he looked at me looking at my eye. i turned around to face him. "It's not your fault-" "It's Justin's" he cut me off. "No, he didn't mean to hit me. It's my fault for getting in between you two. But you guys had to be stopped."

He let out a sigh slip and I smiled at him."I'm surprised you didn't cry. Did it hurt? Does it hurt now?" My boyfriend asked me as I sat on the toilet seat again and I shook my head no. That's a lie.

It did hurt. A lot. It doen't hurt as much as the moment I was hit but a little bit better. "Come on, you need some ice," Mikey said as he opened the bathroom door and helped me up. "And I need to have a talk with this punk." He said and I squeezed his hand. "No no no. You're staying with me. It's not his fault, and you know it." I said and Mikey sighed in defeat.

*Mikey's POV*

I walked with her to the kitchen and all the girls surrounded her as soon as we walked into the room. I went to the fridge and took out an ice pack and took a piece of paper and wrapped it around the ice pack and gave it to her.

She smiled at me and took the girls what happened. Although I honestly want to punch this kid in the face for giving Becca a black eye, I know I can't. If we didn't fight, this wouldn't have happened to her. I walked to Rebecca and locked my arms around her, although her back was to me. I placed my chin on the top of her head and kissed it. "You still look beautiful... even with that black eye." I took her and she chuckled.

I unhooked my arms from her and started to the living room. "Where are you going?" Rebecca asked me. "Don't worry. I won't beat his ass." I told her and she smiled. Although he deserves it. I walked into the living room and he was there with Madison, Louis, Jason and Vinny. "She okay?" He asked me and I nodded. "She's in the kitchen." I said and he nodded and walked into the kitchen.

"It was by accident Mikey." Jason said as I sat on the couch. "I know, she has a black eye though." I said and Louis's eyes opened wide. "Really?" He asked and I nodded. "She didn't cry?" Madison said and I shook my head. "Wow, she's brave." Vinny added and we all agreed.

Rebecca came into the living room with Justin following her. "Guys we have to leave, it's getting late and I promised my aunt that we'll be home for dinner." She said. "Both of you are leaving?" I asked and raised one eye brow.

*Rebecca's POV*

"Yeah. It's fine babe." I said, trying to convince him but I know it wasn't working. "Can I just talk to you for a second?" He asked me and i nodded. We walked to Vinny's backyard, which looked a lot like my aunt's. "He's staying over?" Mikey asked me and I nodded. "In the guest room." I took him. "The reason why I hit him was because it's one month today, and I wanted to spend the whole day together, just the two of us. But he was here and he was basically flirting with you and-" "And you got jealous?" I cut him off as I smirked. He blushed, "Yeah.." He said as he looked at the floor.

"You have nothing to worry about, I swear. I love you Micheal." I said and he looked up at me. "I love you more, even with your black eye." He said and I psuhed him alittle as both of us laughed. "Thanks for ruining the moment." I said and he shook his head. "Happy one month." He said and smiled at me. "Happy one month." He walked closer to me and planted a soft kiss on my lips. I closed my eyes and savored the kissed.

"See you guys later!" I said as I walked out of the front door with Justin tagging along. "I'm so sorry! I know I've said that about a hundred times, but I can't believe I hurt you." Justin told me and I smiled at him. "It's okay, it's my fault really." I said. We started walking up the stairs when he talked, "Why did your boyfriend hit me in the first place?" He asked. "Because he got jealous." I said and Justin laughed. "Of you and me?" He asked and I nodded. "Ew no! No offense, I just don't see you like that." He said and I placed my hands on the place where my heart is. "Offense taken!" I said and we both started laughing.

"What are you going to tell your aunt? About your eye?" My best friend asked me and I shrugged. "Whatever comes to my mind I guess." I said and opened the door to my aunt's house. She was right by the door and her light brown eyes opened wide. "What the hell happened?!" She said as I closed the door behind me.
