Chapter Thirty-Seven

*Mikey's POV*

I ran as fast I could upstairs to Rebecca's room with Madison and Nick at my heels. I ran down the hallway and opened the white, small door that had a gold doorknob. I opened the door without hesitation and knocking, and walked right in.

Rebecca was sitting on the small couch by the 3 large windows that face the front of the house. She was crossed legged and had her laptop on her lap. As soon as the three of us came rushing in, she looked up. "Is he gone?" I asked her between breaths. She examined all of us before nodding her head and smiling. "Woohoo!" I said and walked fast to her and helped her to stand up, and moved her laptop to a side.

She stood up and I hugged her. She wrapped her arms around my neck, tippy-toeing because she's pretty short compared to me. I picked her up and started to swing her around. "Ouch. Guys!" Madison said and I quickly placed Rebecca down and looked at Madison kneeling on her bed looking at his arm. "What were you doing?" Rebecca asked him. "Nick and I were jumping on your bed and Mikey was swinging you too fast and you guys hit me." He said and Rebecca raised an eyebrow. "You guys were doing what?" She asked Nick and Madison and they froze. "Uh- did I say Nick and I? I meant Nick." Madison said which made Rebecca look at Nick.

"See ya Nick." Madison yelled and ran out of her room and stood in the doorway. Rebecca just rolled her eyes and a smiled appeared on her lips. "Nick can you just fix my bed when you get off?" She asked him and he sighed, a sigh of relief. "Yeah of course." He said and got up from her bed and fixed her sheets and pillows.

"You." I said and turned her around to face me. "Yeah?" She asked with her lovely smile. "We," I said as I took her hand. "Are going on a date." I told Rebecca. "Where? And when?" She asked me. "Now and wherever you wanna go." I smirked. "But how would it be a date if Madison and Nick are with us?" She asked and I looked at my two friends. "A double date?" I shrugged and she laughed. "Hey!" Nick and Madison yelled in unison. "We can always ditch them." I said and my girlfriend nodded. "Double hey!" Madison said. "Let me change first." She said. Nick and I just stood there. She looked at both of us and walked to us. She turned us around and started to push just to her door. "Leave." She said as she dragged the "e". "But why?" I asked. She pushed us outside of her room and scoffed. "Pervs." She said and closed the door and locked it.

*Rebecca's POV*

I got out of my bathroom and quickly took my over-the-shoulder Michael Kors bag which had my iPhone 4S, lip gloss, money, and my headphones. I walked downstairs and hugged my aunt goodbye and went outside to Madison, Nick and Mikey. "Did you decide where you want to go?" Nick asked me and I nodded my head. "When I was driving down here in June, I saw a mini-golfing place... I forgot the name." I said and Madison smiled. "She's talking about Swing Time." He said and Mikey nodded. "I love that place!" Nick said. "Alrighty leggo." Mikey said and inter wined our hands.

We finally got there after walking for 30 minutes which felt like 2 hours. Mikey held the door for me. "What a gentleman." I said and he winked at me. As soon as I walked in, I felt the cold air from the air conditioner whip around my body. To the left, was a small version of Dave and Busters from back home. There was a very small section to play bowling, a small carousel, and a lot of other arcade games. To the right was a counter and a lot of prizes under the counter top, in glass. There were prizes on the wall and they all had labels on them, the ones inside of the glass and on the wall

5000 points..... 1000 points... 700 points... 100 points...

We walked up to the man behind the marble blue counter. "4 for mini golf." Mikey said and the man nodded and pulled out a large basket of different colors of golf balls. I took a pink one, Madison took a blue, Nick took a green, and Mikey took a red one.

Madison walked to the other corner of the counter and came back with 4 golf putters for each of us. We walked to the back and out the door and I was unpleasantly greeted by the hot, thick, and sticky air.

We walked to the golfing side, because the other side was batting cages. "Which route do you want to go through?" Nick asked me and I looked at him confused. "There's more than one?" I asked and they all nodded. I walked to were they are and there were two different signs. One said "Baby Bear" and the other "Papa Bear".

"What's the difference?" I asked them and Mikey said, "Baby Bear is for the younger kids, not that challenging-" "And Papa Bear is for us, challenging not it's but for Madison." Nick said and smirked.

"Bitch." Madison said and he shoved Nick. "Let's do Papa Bear." I said and Nick ran through the path. "Madison go through Baby Bear." Mikey said and Madison gave him the middle finger. "It's going to be a long game." I said under my breathe.
