Chapter Forty-Six

(A/N: Heey guys! I know I updated not that long ago, but it's just because I don't have school anymore and nothing to do... at all! I'll be updating again really soon! *Rebecca's POV*

I woke up early, one because I heard a loud bang downstairs, and two, I couldn't stop thinking about the fight that Nora and I had.

It was 6 A.M. I was trying to close my eyes to go back to sleep but someone shook me wide awake. I opened my eyes immediately and it was my mom. "Mom!" I yelled and hugged her. "Hi sweety." She said, quietly.

"What are you doing here? Where have you been?" I asked her and she smiled at me. "I'll explain in the car because I'm taking you home and I'll bring you back in two days!" She said and to be honest I did, and didn't want to go back. I didn't because I promised Abby and everyone else that we'll all do something fun, like Six Flags or the beach.

I did want to leave because everything around here reminded me of Mikey. Even the smallest thing reminded me of him, and made me sad. So, going away for even two days, could be good for me, just to get out of the town. Even if it's just for a little while.

I smiled at my mom and got up from bed, I ran to the closet and took out my black carry-on and threw in three pairs of shorts, two shirts, sandals, pjs, and all of the other necessary stuff that I need.

I took my bag, iPhone and charger and met my mom at the bottom of the steps. My aunt and cousin were nowhere in sight so I just walked into my mom's car that was parked right in front and sat in the back.

My mom helped me push my carry-on in the truck and before I knew it, we were on our way to NYC.

I fell asleep and woke up when we were pulling into our driveway. I was so happy to be home, I haven't been home in such along time and I miss NY anyways. I texted Abby, Nick, and Vinny in a group message to tell them that my mom surprised me and took me back to NYC but only for two days and I'll hang out with them when I get back.

I'm not expecting a text back from them anytime soon because it just turned eight in the morning and unlike me, they can sleep till midday.

"Becca, your friends are coming over today, just a heads up." My mom said as she opened the door. "Really who?" I asked her, smiling.

"Justin, Kayla and Kyle." She said and I squealed with excitement. I haven't seen Kayla since Hersey Park, haven't seen Kyle since the day before Hersey Park, and haven't seen Justin since what feels like years ago. I couldn't wait to see my best friends, I wished time could speed up.

"Oh my god." I said as Kayla was dancing to Wherever You Wanna Go. "Please stop! For the love of god!" Justin yelled as he hid behind me. Kyle and I started laughing of Justin's expression. "You're an ass." Kayla said as she sat on the foot of my bed and I kicked her slightly to remind her that my mom was in the other room.

"I missed you guys so much." I told them and they all "aw"ed. "Yeah, yeah shut up before I take it back." I said and Kyle put his hands up in defense. "How's spikey?" Justin asked as he laid on his back on the floor and threw my small pillow up in the air, over and over again.

"He's okay, I think." I said and Kayla looked at me confused. "They're in Cali" I explained. "Till when?" Kyle asked me. "I'm not sure."

Justin scoffed, "You're not sure?" I shook my head. "Wow."

"Hey, don't say it like that. He's just following his dream with his best friends. What am I supposed to say? 'Don't go because I'm going to miss you too fuckin- damn much?'" I corrected myself.

"Yes!" They all yelled at me. "But I can't say that." I said and Justin gave me a stank look. "Why not? You just said it?" He said and Kyle hit him upside the head. "Don't be a smart ass." Kyle responded and Justin rolled his eyes.

"If I was in his place, I would want my boyfriend to support my decision of going to Cali till whenever." I answer and Kyle and Kayla nodded their head. "I guess I see where you are coming from now." Justin answer and I clapped. "You've got to my level of reasoning, Congrats Just." I smirked, I know how much he hates it when I call him "Just" or "Justy".

"I hate that." Justin said and Kyle laughed. "That's why I said it." I answered and Kyle and Kayla both "ooh"ed.

"Shut up guys." Justin said and we all laughed, including him because he can't keep a straight face. "Till when are you staying?" Kayla asked me. "Till Monday morning." I said and they all smiled. "We should do something tomorrow," Kyle said. "All of us." He added and we laughed.

"I'm down." I said. Before anyone could say anything else my mom told us that dinner was ready. Maybe coming home and being with my mom was what I needed. I needed to get out of New Jersey, even if it's only for a few days. I love being with my best friends, and I know that they are making the empty space, that's for Mikey, feel better.

When I go back to New Jersey, I'm going to be happy, and not only think about myself but for Mikey. And Madison, Jason, and Louis, they are all living their dream and I should be happy that they have that opportunity, and having an amazing time. I just hope Mikey misses me as much as I do.
