Maria stumbled into the mansion, locking the door behind her. The house was quiet, not even the dogs or her cat Tux came out to greet her, -'Its midnight, of course it's quiet' she sighed to herself and smiled wide. Lopez finally got the courage to do something about their relationship. -'Not just fuck buddies' she mumbled to herself, before going upstairs. She carefully opened the masterbedroom's door, Gaga was heavily sleeping on top of Lukas completely naked, Maria sighed and closed the door again, as much as she enjoyed her mom's happiness she didnt appreciated seeing her naked very much.

Few days later

-'Michael is going with you?' gaga watched her daughter sort out travelling clothes, -'Yeah, we're apparently a thing', Gaga nodded, -'...Alright. You got the gifts?', Maria held up two white apple bags, -'Yeah...all set', Gaga sighed deeply and helped her put some things on the suitecase, -'so you're excited', -'Yeah, and nervous....It's gonna be so many people', -'You have six siblings. How do you feel about that?', Maria shrugged, -'Fine I guess. One of them is my age' she looked at her mother shamefully, -'I know that...I'm not even thinking about whatever your father did in the past, Maria. I'm thinking about you and your happiness and comfort. So if in the lapse of that week and a half you dont feel good or safe, I-', -'I dont need you to rescue me mom. It's probably gonna be pretty normal'.

-'Why are you so worried' Lukas saw Gaga shuffle impatiently, -'Im not worried I'm just a bit nervous. I feel like theyre kind of hillbillies', Lukas laughed , -'They are NOT!', -'No but maria is used to such a different life and-', -'It will be FINE. I promise', Lukas kissed her deeply and continued going around the supermarket in search for blue cheese sauce.
Gaga looked at him from afar. He was perfect for her.
Maria eagerly looked through the market brown bags and shuffled around until she found her favorite PopTarts, -'Woo! Great' she smiled and ran up to her room where Michael was waiting to share the snack.

-'You got your bags ready?' maria asked the boy, they would be leaving tonight and she just wanted everything to go smoothly, -'Yeah, they are ready...so! What do you think they'll make you do over there?', -'My mom thinks theyre hillbillies and will make me like, pick grain or something' she rolled her eyes and picked at a scab she had on her ankle, -'I just dont believe thats the case...but we'll see, it wont be too bad, I think. Shes just trying to keep me from him and I dont think thats fair, I have the right to meet my own dad you know? And my siblings', -'Oh siblings, you've been a single child for all your life, how are you gonna cope?', Maria shrugged, -'Theres a lot of little kids as well. Thats probably gonna be annoying', Lopez nodded, -'And why doesnt your mom want more babies?', Maria sighed, -'It's not that she and Lukas don't want to, it's that he has like a low sperm count or some shit, so it's extremely extremely unlikely that it's even possible. They've accepted it though so, what can we do?'.

Gaga came home from recording as soon as she could so she was able to say bye to her daughter.
-'Awww I'm gonna cry' tears threatened to leave her eyes, -'Oh mom! Come on...I'll be fine, I'm a big girl', Gaga chuckled and nodded, -'Yes you are. Take care of yourself Maria Grazia, if anything tries to go wrong, or if you feel like something isnt right, just call me and I'll be there', Maria nodded and hugged her mom tight, -'I love you' she whispered, squeezing her lovingly, -'Love you too baby...and YOU' she pointed at Lopez, -'Take good care of her and have fun', -'Will do ma'am', -'Ed is waiting outside with the car, I should go'. Maria then hugged Lukas quickly, -'Not yet' she mumbled so Gaga couldnt hear, Lukas nodded -'Have a good time, bug...call when you're about to board', -'Yep! Well...See you in a week and a half!'.
And off she went.
