studying for exams had never been something of pleasure, to most people.

tyler found himself intrigued in the aspect of studying, him of course adoring the study he majored in.

josh, however, found it appalling that teachers stress you so much. his major was the same as tyler's, but yet, he didn't enjoy it as much.

the brunette flipped through his notes, finding happiness in the fact he was done with all of them. meanwhile, his best friend had barely finished two and a half pages of it.

"c'mon joshie, i'll help you!" his friend encouraged, "i hate nouns and adjectives and verbs an-" tyler interrupted.

"honey, you can't stress so much, try and space it out a bit. maybe you can get ice cream when you're done? hmm?"

"that sounds promising, 'm sorry nouns and adjectives and verbs."

test taking was fun for no body, except the hue-haired boy.

he loved the silence and non-calmness of his peers.

tyler, on the other hand, was in rage mode when test-taking came. he fumbled when he moved, and he fidgeted when he fumbled.

when josh came into the auditorium, eye bags were visible. it broke his friend's heart.

when tyler came into the auditorium, he looked confident. his friend idolized it.

after their stupendous sleepover, josh cramped into exam studying, and tyler encouraged him.

once they reached the end of day one of exams both friends were relieved, and headed to josh's house. his mom wasn't at home so the boys just chilled in the living room.

the brunette shut his eyes and took in the moment, his friend by his side falling asleep slowly, and his mind drifting towards normal days.

there was hardly a day the two didn't spend together.

tyler was just afraid his friend would turn him down, of course it not being his fault, but he didn't want them two to be so awkward. he shivered imagining it.

the boy beside him shifted and he smiled, opening his eyes.

josh was fast asleep snoring softly, as the elder of them twiddled his hair betwixt his hands.

suddenly, the blue-haired boy smiled in his slumber. his lips pursed and he mewed. he hugged his friend closer.

"i l'e y'hmm" he mummers.

"i love you joshua," tyler whispers softly.

joshua woke up with a grin, having dreamt of his first kiss. it hadn't been his first time of this dream, but he couldn't come to grips with the fact that tyler was the one kissing him.

every. single. time.

it didn't consist of more than a kiss, simple and innocent and josh loved every minute of it. he had decided he wanted his first kiss to be with his best friend. little did he know a kiss was something usually of romance between two people that love each other.

if he heard that he'd just say 'well me an' ty lo'e each other'.

he heard a little click sound and greeted his puppy dog.

"juju!" he whisper-yelled, alarming the boston to march towards him. the pup looked so big now, maybe josh was just small. he smiles, looking at his -second-best friend.

he loved the thought of junior being so comfortable with his first best friend that he cuddled the two. which he did.

tyler's arms were still around josh as they were still huddled on the couch, the brunette's legs were spread so the canine jumped up softly and snuggled into his chest.

tyler awoke and smiled at the pup, unaware of his friend's adoring gaze.

"hey creampuff bumblebee," he whispers.

"hey ty," josh giggles, snapping him to his glare. "hey bubble gum," he says, josh closing his eyes turning pink.

his friend didn't use that nickname often anymore, but when he did, josh got flustered.

"why's junebug a c-cream puff?" he laughs.

"i just thought it sounded cute- and random- like b-bumble snug."

the hue laughed hysterically, tyler basking in pride at helping his friend emit that noise.

joshua had adorable sweater paws and crinkled his entire face. he thought it was annoying; his friend thought it was adorable.

the younger usually came to school hidden behind the taller boy. he didn't talk in class, which the teachers understood, but he still achieved high grades.

he didn't talk to anyone aside from tyler in school, and strayed far from any other human. when he became anxious he picked his nails, making them slightly jagged but no one noticed, besides his bestie.

tyler found it endearing that beyond those doors, joshua clung to him like a child to their mother, not exactly in that way of course, though.

he was so unbelievably shy. it seemed abnormal to most, they would stare, and tyler would threaten them with his strong chocolate eyes.

just another thing to add in the list of reasons to love joshua dun.
