build upon me, my layers of trust, love.
your happiness is my own, and if
you shall pour your rosebud tears; i'll be the one to dry them.

tyler finished scribbling his gentle promise. he wouldn't show it to his love but maybe one day he'll find all of them.

right now the lilac boy was sugar coating his melancholy thoughts by taking photographs of a leafy praying mantis.

the brunette was actually terrified of any "alien lookin' insect thingies" but josh always found them intriguing; they ought to fight to live, and they wouldn't dare to hurt humans. most of them anyway.

the blonde puckers his hazel eyes in a plead to go find another hillside with tyler.

"the lil' daisies would look darling in your lil' brown hair," he says, his sweater paws playing with his boyfriend's hair.

"pah-leeeeeease?"

"okay, bub, go get your coat okay?"

he nods, and grabs both of their rain coats. the weather had been mildly chilly as of late, but april was beginning to fade into may.

"let's walk?" josh recommends with an endearing smile. how could someone say no to him?

after about thirty minutes of walking, they stood upon a golden hill, overlooking a beautiful sunset. the gold strings in the star were nothing compared to the ones in joshua's eyes, though.

he lay in the grass, it scratched his pale skin slightly, itching it; he didn't mind.

tyler followed suit, and pondered about what it'd be like to marry his petal. josh was only eighteen and he only twenty, but his heart would only ever belong to the gingerbread tasting boy.

he saw angels in front of him when he was only surrounded by josh. he smiles to himself.

"ty?"

"huh?" he says looking at the blonde; his eyes were extra sparkly each day.
they seemed to twinkle in a poetic-type symphony.

they reassured him of so many things.

"i asked if you wanted to make pancakes later? where've you been?" josh giggled, sweet, and childlike. music to tyler's ears.

"of course, honey," he sits his head onto his boyfriend's lap, which was criss-cross applesauce.

roses littered the sky, that seemed to resemble heaven.

his childhood best friend was dolled up in a snowy white dress. his hair was a wonderful tulip pink, and he lay in a olive colored field.

he graced josh's face, his silky skin soothing tyler's confused vibes.

"i love you so much tyler, but," he hesitated, his sunshine gaze fell and melted into cloud tears.
