the tree had a couple of initials graved into it's stone. a symbol of friendship.

the world originally seemed a bitter black and white, the dim plain tones, forming the world to be a gloomy place.

when tyler's grey lips met his, everything sprouted into life.

his lips became ruby, and his hair, it resembles a soft light brown. his eyes no longer dull, closing.

josh closed his eyes too. his world was now colorful.

the petite boy had his hands closely together on tyler's chest, while the other's were massaging the hairs on the back of his best friend's neck.

the moment was short, but their cheeks were a mixture of burgundy an maroon.

they didn't have to speak, and josh just cuddled onto his best friend.

after the cherry blossom moment the two went to the dun residence.

mama dun was currently at work and the boys decided to play some old games.

"your buns are goin' down, dun," tyler declared, setting up the smaller's old sega system.

"ya, like that'd happen, joseph," the ocean-blue haired boy giggled, in the friendliest way.

"sonic is my game mister," josh clarified, "so imma win."

the match was determined to be a friendly competition, but each of the two college students were set on kickin' butt.

(a/n: ohmygod i'm crYing it autocorrected to lock-in butt and i just-)

"bring it, dun."

whomever were to win would receive a free batch of pancakes made from the other.

the hazel eyed boy aced the courses they set, the brunette, not so much.

josh was mocking tyler's ego for wining, and watched him make pancakes.

"just so you know i'm making some for me too, you're not gettin' them all. ya silly," he proclaimed.

"fine, you butt."

when mrs. dun entered her home, she came to a much expected sight.

her son and his best friend were snuggled on the couch, chocolate milk smudged on josh's lips.

tyler was laid down all the way, his friend on top, with his arm laced delicately over.

they both looked so content.

she smiles to herself, setting her purse on the kitchen table. quickly, she snaps a picture on her phone, no one has to know.

the brunette shifts slightly, disturbed.

"hey, uhm, do you think he would mind if i went to work?" tyler asks, pointing to her son.

"just go," she whispers, smiling. she uses a 'shoo' motion with her hands.

he wakes up in his bed, properly tucked in. his stuffed pug, charles, is hugging him softly.

he clutched the animal, smelling a hint of his best friend. he had a dream, that his first kiss was shared with his best friend.

his dream came true.

he had just finished this painting of a pastel sunset. this should sell for a decent price.

tyler contemplates showing his best friend, but he had decided against it. joshua usually wants to praise them and keep them all. what a sweet person.

he hugs a picture of the boy, grinning. his best friend, no one else's.

sometimes people would pick on him for his more feminine side. tyler loves that side, and never sees it anymore.

he finally puts it up for sell in his shop, sighing.

he really does love his best friend.
