Tivoli doesn't have many stores so Helen, Gabe, and Philip can't be picky when it comes to going to the store. So they stop at this little old small store on the way home. They park in the empty lot and make their way out of the car and into the little store.
Philip pushes the door open and notices the ringing sound when the door opens as Helen and Gabe follow closely behind Philip.
Philip tries to make this as easy and as quick as possible until Helen starts talking.
"Philip, down this aisle." Helen says. snapping Philip out of his thoughts.
Philip turns around and walks towards the aisle Helen and Gabe are at. Everything was going good until he saw Helen pick up a size medium condom pack.
"Um, Helen I'll pick out the condoms." Philip says trying to be as calm as possible.
"Why don't you just take these?" Helen asks curiously.
"Those are too small" "won't fit." He adds for a better understanding.
"Oh then pick out the size."
Philip walks over and picks up the condoms that say extra large on them and ignoring the look Helen and Gabe give up and he walks up to the counter to pay for the condoms.
The boy at the counter looks around Philip's age and has been eyeing Philip from the moment he walked into the store.
"Extra large?" The boy says.
"Yea." Philip responds plainly.
"Wow so you're packing?"
"How about you fuck off-"
"Philip, language and can you just scan the condoms so that we can get the hell out of here and stop being a pervert because I'm the sheriff."
"Oh sorry, ma'am, sheriff, I didn't realize -
"JUST SKAN THEM!" Helen yells.
"Yes ma'am."
Philips favorite part is leaving the store so he can get home and call Lukas.

When they get in the car Helen tries to explain the sex talk to Philip again.
"I know,Helen." Philip says
"Just trying to make sure your safe at all costs kiddo."
"I know, and I appreciate everything."

Finally they're home it seems like forever and Philip heads straight up to his room to avoid the awkward conversations that he knows will happen.
He flops on his bed and texts Lukas.
To Lukas: Just got home.
A few seconds later he feels his phone vibrating and Lukas' name pops up. He hurries up and answers it.
"Hey." Philip says.
"Hey, babe how'd it go?"
"Well for starters Helen picked up a size medium condoms and that was awkward."
"Did you tell her I was packing?"
Philip snorts and laughs like no other.
"You're an asshole. But I told her I'd pick out the condoms and when I went to pay for them this guy was like flirting with me."
"Wha... What- what g. guy."
"Lukas calm down."
"No, who the hell was he."
"Just some guy who worked at the store and you don't have to worry about it because Helen already gave him the 'I'm the sheriff' talk."
"Oh...Ok good."
"You don't have to worry about that stuff you know."
"Yea, i know. But i wanna know when some asshole is flirting with you."
"Its okay Lukas. None of them matter."
"I know."
Reasurrance is always nice in a relationship.
