I especially didn't want to go to school today and I'm not the happiest camper about that. Lukas has been clingier than usual because of all the Jake stuff. But, I've been trying to push that aside because I'm really not trying to deal with all of that right now.

I also can't believe why I'm still getting asked why was I in the hospital lots of times today and I began to wonder how everyone knows everyone. It's completely ridiculous how that works.

But I've been out of the hospital for a long time now people should be over this. Why am I still the talk of the school?

But, other than that it's been a pretty chill.

I'm waiting for Lukas by the bike and he's running a little slow today. Slower than usual. I see another car in the parking lot but I'm not really worried about that I just wanna go home.

I finally spot Lukas walking out of the school building and he's with the last person I want to see right now... Jake.

This guy can't take a hint can he? I've been nice granted I've only seen him once this month I'm doing the best I can with all this information at once.

They make their way over to me and I put on my best fake smile.

"Hey, Philip how are you?" Jake says trying to hug me but I don't hug back, I just pat his shirt awkwardly and move over to Lukas and I give him a really good long hug, the kind I know he loves. With a little kiss on the lips to seal the deal.

When our moment is over, I look back at Jake who has the biggest grin on his face.

"I'm doing good. Ready to go home though." I say. I really just wanna go home, shower and then go cuddle Lukas all night since we don't have school tomorrow because of a holiday.

"Well, I'll follow you guys." Jake says walking away to his car. I look over at Lukas confused he just smiles at me handing me my helmet.

"What did you do?" I ask very sternly. He just kisses my forehead and pulls me in to him but I remain in a stiff position until he spills.

"Okay, I invited him over," he says pleading with me giving me those eyes. The eyes he gives me when he knows I'm about to blow up, which I rarely do.

"But, before you get mad, he begged me baby and I— I couldn't say no." He says kissing me again getting on the bike right after. He puts his helmet on and pats behind him for me to sit. I get on and try to enjoy the ride home.

When we pull off thoughts just flood my brain and I want to use this time on the bike to clear my head and that's what I usually do. But, I just can't.

Sometime later when we get to my house, I ignore Jake and head straight into the house and I'm pleased to smell the pizza on the table from Helen and Gabe and I know they're just doing this just to get on my good side about the whole Jake thing and it's working.

"Hey, kid," Helen says puling me into a short hug, Gabe doing the same.

I hear the door close behind me and Lukas and Jake chatting it up like old buddies.

"So, what's going on?" I ask Helen and Gabe. I would ask Jake but you know, I don't feel comfortable enough to do that yet maybe sometime in the future when we've become closer friends.

"Jake wanted to see you." Gabe says simply.

I knew something was off this morning because I got way more breakfast than usual and they were alot more smiley as well but I just thought I'd be able to see my mom or something but that obviously wasn't it.
