Eyewitness: Philip and Lukas:

sickness.

It's not that Philip hated parties it's just that he only attended parties when Lukas asked him to.

There was this party that happened once a year and it was tonight. The whole school would be there and even kids from the city would be there.

Philip and Lukas planned on going to this party just for the fact that they thought it would be fun to meet new people and possibly some gay couples.

Skip to now Philip and Lukas are standing in the lunch line. Lukas standing so close behind Philip that his chest is touching Philips back.

Philips head is pounding and he feels like he's about to faint,but he brushes it off because he knows Lukas really wants to go to that party.

"Hey, Waldenbeck. Hey Philip" Jack says.

"Sup bro?" Lukas says bringing Jack then John into bro hugs.

"So we'll see you guys at the party tonight?" Jack asks

"Yea, of course."

"Okay. Well were headed to the table." John and Jack says walking away.

Everything is going fine until Philip feels the vomit coming up. He runs to the nearest trash can in the cafeteria and lets it all out.

Lukas isn't too far behind. He walks up behind Philip and rubs his back.

"Babe, you okay." Lukas says standing behind Philip hands on his shoulders.

Philip is trying his best to ignore everyone in the cafeteria staring at him and muttering things like 'ew' and 'the fag is sick.'

"Hey, man shut the fuck up before I kick your ass." Lukas yells

Everyone goes silent except for a group of boys he knows are homophobes. As Philip lurches over into the trash can and throws up a little bit more.

John and Jack the only pair of twins Philip has ever met and the only 2 of Lukas' guy friends that he likes.

Lukas hears Jack say "you wanna finish that sentence or are you gonna listen to Waldenbeck."

"The Waldenbecks boyfriend deserves to be sick. Look what he did to Lukas." The boy responds

Jack doesn't even respond just throws a punch knocking the boy down with one punch and the cafeteria fills with ooooo's and aaaa's.

Lukas doesn't pay attention to the rest of it and just neals down and waits for Philip to finish.When he's finished. Philip sits down on the cafeteria floor and Lukas realizes if Philip stands up one more time he'all vomit.

Lukas picks Philip up like a baby and Philip rests his head on Lukas' chest. As they walk out of the cafeteria and into the nurses office.

"I heard the news. Philip your Foster parents are on their way just hang in there."

"Wow, news travels really fast." Lukas says. Philip doesn't say a word as Lukas walks over to one of the chairs and sits down holding Philip in his lap.

"Babe, you okay." Lukas whispers

"Yea, I'm fine I just.... When I stand up I will throw up."

"Then you won't have to stand up okay."

"Thanks."

"No problem."

When Helen and Gabe arrive Philip is asleep in Lukas' lap.

"How long has he been sleep?" Helen whispers.

"Since we got in here. He can't stand or he'll puke so I'll carry him to the car."

"Lukas I already put your bike in the back of the truck. But if you're not coming with us I'll just take it ou-"

"No, no I'm coming." Lukas says not letting Gabe finish his sentence.

"Okay let's go."

Lukas lifts Philip and leaves the nurses office.

Philip wakes up in his bed his head in Lukas neck. He looks up a little and sees Lukas' blue eyes looking down on him. Lukas starts smiling which makes Philip smile.

"Hey. How long have I been out." Philip asks.

"Since we went to the nurses office during lunch." Lukas responds.

"Damn. I was feeling like shit. But now I feel a little better." Philip says looking down sadly.

"What's wrong?" Lukas asks.

"I heard those guys at lunch and I couldn't say anything."

"Philip, you don't need to worry about them assholes. My boys already handled them after I did."

"Your boys? The twins?" Philip asks.

"Yea."

Philip really appreciates that because for so long all he wanted was for people to accept him and he wanted friends who wouldn't judge him. He could never be friends with guys because they would think Philip had a crush on them. According to them every gay boy they see likes them which is the furthest thing from the truth.

But when he started dating Lukas the twins welcomed him with open arms and didn't judge him for who he was and just let him be himself which I'd really refreshing.

"Isn't the party of the year tonight?" Philip asks.

"Yea."

"You can still go. You know I'm not feeling well enough to get up. But you should go it's only a once a year thing."

"No."

"Lukas."

"No I'm not leaving you."

"Will you stay the night."

"Yea of course. There's always the party next year and I'll show you it then so er can experience it together. But for now get your rest babe."

"Okay. Be sure to text Jack and John telling them we won't make it. I'm going to sleep. Love you." Philip says closing his eyes nuzzling Lukas' neck.

"Already did while you were asleep. Love you more."
