Eyewitness: Philip and Lukas:

Visiting Anne

"How've you been sweetie?" Anne asks Philip over the phone.

"I've been pretty good at adjusting for the most part since everything has happened."

"That's great, how's Lukas?"

"He's doing good."

"That's great too. Listen honey, they're having visiting hours tomorrow from 12pm-3pm. If you want to come you're more than welcome."

Philip is a little confused as to why his mom isn't a little bit more excited than that. He barely can keep himself from squealing but he assumes she's just tired.

"Yes, yes of course I'm coming mom."

"It's been so long can't wait to see you honey."

"Me too. Philip says. Very hesitantly Philip asks. "Hey mom, would you mind if I brought Lukas along?"

"No,not at all he's always welcome."

Before Philip can reply he hears someone in the background telling his mom she needs to end her phone call.

"Listen, sweetie I have to go. I'll see you tomorrow though." Anne said excitedly.

"Yea, see you then. Love you mom."

"You too swe-"

Before she could finish they disconnected her phone call.

'Those assholes' Philip mumbles.

Helen and Gabe peek their heads into Philips room.

"Hey bud, we were kind of eavesdropping." Gabe says

"I know I heard when you guys put your ear up to the door." Philip responds simply.

"Wow you're good. But we were just letting you know we'd love to take you to visit Anne if you need a ride."

"Thanks guys." Philip says.

With that being said Helen and Gabe closed Philip's door and Philip dialed Lukas' number. It took two rings for Lukas to answer.

"Hey, baby." Lukas says.

Philip smiles at that because he will never get tired of hearing Lukas say that.

"Hi, I um.. I wanted to ask you something."

"What's up?" Lukas asks curiously.

"I was kind of wondering if you would like to go with me to visit my mom in rehab tomorrow." 'If you're not busy' Philip adds.

He doesn't know why he's so nervous.

Of course Lukas is nervous but the first,and last time Lukas and Anne met it went pretty well.

"No, I'm not busy. I'd love to."

"Really?" Philip asks nervously.

"Yea of course. I've only met her once so it'd be nice to get to know her more."

Philip gets up eagerly when he hears Lukas' motorbike riding up to the lawn.

"Is Lukas taking you?" Gabe asks. Helen had already left for work and Gabe had to go to work as well despite him offering to take Philip to visit Anne, but this really came up last minute and Philip seemed to understand.

"Yea, and we sort of have to get there really early, so I'll see you later." Philip says opening the front door.

"Later, kid." Gabe responds chuckling.
