Chapter 25 Mink route pt.7

        Zorakuba's eyes widened as he missed Akushima, Akushima in return smirked at him.  "Ahahahaha! You missed you damn bra-Wahhh!" Akushima was interrupted by a large fist slamming into him from behind.  He'd been punched hard by mink right on the back of the head.  Zorakuba sighed with relief and gave an appreciative nod to Mink as Akushima fell to the floor unconscious before running off to help Canterbury and the others.  They were starting to win the fight.  Just as they were a searing pain ran through Zorakuba's head.  Not now!  Why of all times does his head start to hurt now?! 
        Zorakuba gripped his head with both hands as the red hot pain attacked him.  His vision flickered with images and illusions that weren't actually there, and his heart beat was heard in his ears.  His surroundings were not noticeable to him but he heard Mink off in the distance shouting something to him but it didn't reach his ears.  He couldn't think.  He couldn't see or hear or do anything!  He began to shake as his thoughts merged with memories and memories with illusions.  He didn't know what was going on!
    "Finally back out to play!  What a long wait!" He suddenly growled out with a cackle as he opened his eyes to reveal that they were a deep scarlet with alot cat like pupils.  It was another one of his scrap abilities. 
       He stood up and punched an oncoming officer without even flinching as he glances around bored.  "So what is it with these stupid people always challenging us?  I mean we have too many abilities to count!" He says to himself before spotting Mink, who was watching him with a searing gaze.  His brow was in a tight frown. 
     Luckily the officers were now retreating and didn't look like they were gonna come back so there was no need to worry about that.  He smirked and shook his head before looking at the members, who were now looking at him curiously.  Mink however looked like he was about to punch somebody into next week.  The members of Scratch noticed this and backed off alittle bit.  "Zorakuba" glanced at Mink, giving him a once over before rolling his eyes.  "So you're the Mink Pixel was blabbering about nonstop.  Anyways the names Azurath but you can call me Az." Az saidbefore shrugging.  Mink glared at him before telling the other members to get out, which they did.  They were heading to an unknown place to start preparing a plan involving Toue.  Boring.
      "So hot stuff what're you gonna do huh?  Ask me what I am?  I'll save you the breath and let you know now I'm Zorakuba's physical scrap power.  Anyone I touch I can control."  He says and takes a threatening step towards Mink.  Mink in response narrowed his eyed and stood his ground.  "That doesn't explain why you appeared.  What business do you have here?"  He asks cautiously and stares down Az almost challengingly.  Az didn't back down however.  Instead he smiled mischievieously.  "The only downside is that i have to touch their blood or something extremely important to that person that's still on the person or near them at least.  What a drag," Az rolls his eyes lazily. (Haha he pulled a Shikamaru)
      Mink seemed to relax himself before glaring at Az and taking long strides towards the smaller male, who instantly tensed himself and tried to prepare himself for an attack but he wasn't able to stop mink from gripping the front of his shirt.  He growled angrily and spoke ferociously.  "You know what I'm gonna ask do it....let Zorakuba back in control." He growled before Az smirked.  "Alright tough guy but I want to ask you something first.  I can practically smell the attachment you have to him...so what do you want with Zorakuba?  It's obvious it's more than a little plot of yours.  Do you," Az paused to smirk and looked up at Mink who was watching him with a cautious intent.  "Perhaps you have feelings for him?  Oh my how touching!  And you want to know something even more interesting?  He likes you too.  But he doesn't want you to know that.  No no he thinks you hate him after what happened with his abilities." 
      Minks eyes widened with both shock and surprise as he looked at Az.  No matter how he denied it he was right.  He did have feelings for Zorakuba.  However....he was also afraid of him.  Of his power that can destroy and break things and people as a whole.  He wanted to help Zorakuba become himself again and just that.  That's why he was doing this too.  Another reason that is.
       Minks silence only answered Az's questions which made him grin and shake his head.  "Haha oh boy this will be a big show for me and Pixel!  Well be waiting Mink dear~" Az coos before closing his eyes momentarily, and after a few short moments, his eyes open again to reveal the same violet color of Zorakuba's eyes that Mink knew very well. 
       "Zorakuba....are you alright?"  Mink asked him as he watched Zorakuba, Zorakuba not seeming to know exactly what was going on.  He seemed and sounded tired and exhausted.  "Yeah I'm fine......but what just happened Mink?  I remember a bad headache and then darkness....." he said as he looked around, noting the empty room.  Az's words replayed in Minks mind as he looked at Zorakuba.  He said that he had feelings for him, and Mink felt them towards Zorakuba too.  He wanted to say something but he didn't know how.  What would Zorakuba think or do when Mink confessed to him?  He wondered if he would get mad and stop helping him or hit him and leave him.  He would have a hard time accepting it of course but there's nothing he could do.  After a few moments of silence Zorakuba looked back at Mink who was frowning alittle bit.  That's when Mink decided it.  He would tell him.  With a deep breath, he spoke with conviction.

"There's something I need to tell you....Zorakuba..."

(And done!  So sorry for the long wait but I had surgery.  It went well and I only need to rest for a few weeks.  Anyways what did you think of the new chapter?  I can't wait to see what's in store for our two lovebirds...in this route anyways.
