Chapter 47 Ren route pt.1

        Zorakuba roared with rage and swung his fist at the guard, causing the guard to go flying. However...before he could go after the downed guard again he felt a tiny set of paws hop up onto his legs. With a growl he looked down to see Ren looking up at him.
        "Zorakuba." He said with concern as he looked at him. Zorakuba growled deeper but...paused as he looked into Ren's black eyes. His anger started to dissipate before he gripped his head in pain, feeling a voice of reason somewhere in the back of his head fight with the rage he was currently feeling.
        He felt himself fall to the ground, his knees making a thud.  Zorakuba heard Ren's voice somewhere in the background as his vision started fading into darkness. He didn't know what was going on...or why he even snapped out of whatever just happened. All he could think of was the pain...and Ren.

        "Ngh...." Zorakuba groaned faintly with pain as he woke up, his eyes slowly blinking away the blinding light of the sun through the window-

Wait....where was he?

        Zorakuba slowly tried to sit up but felt...pain throughout his whole body...not to mention something was laying on his chest. His eyes travelled to it and he...was surprised to find a sleeping mass of blue fur. Ren...
        Ren didn't remain asleep for long as he felt Zorakuba move, opening his eyes and quickly standing up. "Zora! I'm glad you're awake." He said with a relieved tone...Zorakuba just glanced around seeming confused.
         "What....what happened Ren? How'd...I get here?" He asked, feeling himself relax as the pain slowly began to dull just a little. Ren only sat down again as he looked at him.
         "After you collapsed, Koujaku and Aoba carried you back here to rest. You're in Aoba's house right now in his bed....it's been 3 days since then." He explained but had to catch himself as Zorakuba sat up in shock, momentarily forgetting his pain.
         "I've been out for three days?!" He exclaimed as he looked at Ren, who nodded as he stood next to him on the bed. He sat there for a moment, frowning deeply as he looked down at his lap. That...that was a lot to process.
        "Zorakuba...do you want me to go get you something to eat?" He asked and tilt his head, Zorakuba glancing back at him. "...no thank you Ren...I'm not hungry right now." He said with a small sigh. He didnt know what exactly happened but...he knew it had to be bad.
       "Ren...I don't know what I did but...the only thing i remember is you saying my name...and the pain...but you...snapped me out of whatever happened. So thank you."
        Ren nodded and stood up again. "You're welcome...I just couldn't stand by and watch." He then hopped down. "Can you stand, Zorakuba?" He looked back towards the bed.
        Zorakuba nodded and stood up slowly, a little wobbly at first, but he was able to do it nonetheless.  He looked down at Ren. "Well...what now?" He asked after a moment.
        "Aoba and Tai-san are downstairs eating dinner. They'd like to know you're ok." He said before trotting towards the door. Zorakuba sighed quietly and followed...dreading what he would find out once he saw Aoba and Tai again.
