Chapter 40 Noiz rout pt.11

For some reason Zorakuba hadn't come back yet to the house, and Noiz was getting very worried. It had already been almost 5 hours now.

"Damn....Where the hell is he...?" Noiz asked himself as he paced the room before pausing as he heard a small scratching sound come from the door. He frowned and slowly walked over to it, feeling suspicious before opening the door...no one was there.

"Huh? No ones-" "Noiz down here!" Noiz quickly looked down only to see Chef standing there. Noiz titled his head and picked up Chef.

"Where's Zorakuba?" He asked as he walked inside. Chef barely let him finish as he spoke, sounding nervous despite being an allmate.

"Noiz you have to hurry quick to Oval Tower. This guy named Ryuuhou did something to him and now hes with him! They messed with his head somehow and made him...well...evil!" He explained, Noiz's eyes widening with shock before a mix of guilt hits him though he remained indifferent on the outside. It was his fault that he ran away.

"Let's go." He says seriously as he hurries out the door, Chef now on his shoulder. However when he gets outside he's met with the sight of Aoba and the others about to knock on or open the door.

"Eh? What are you guys doing here?" Noiz asked in a slightly aggravated tone. He wanted to get moving now...he didn't know what would happen if Zorakuba was in the hands of Toue.

"We came to help after Chef sent us a distress signal a few hours ago." Aoba responded and pulled up a message on his coil. It was indeed from Chef. Noiz looked at Chef as his tail flicked. "I knew you would require assistance so I sent them a message to come as soon as possible." He explained and shrugged his tiny shoulders.

Noiz almost smiled at this (almost) and nodded as he looks towards the others. "We need to get to Zorakuba immediately. What's the plan?"
