Chapter 42 noiz rout pt.13

(Question: should Aoba be a route?)

       Zorakuba sighed quietly, deciding to go with sei.  After all, this is the first time meeting another with...the power. By power...he means scrap. He did not know that Aoba had similar powers but he did know that sei had them.  After all, how could the plan continue without it?

       Zorakuba strode towards Sei, glancing at him. "Let's go.  I'm sure master Toue has work to do." He says almost in a commanding way as he walked, Sei quietly following besides him with a somewhat nervous, complex expression. The others watched them leave before Toue chuckled quietly. "I wonder what he has learned over the past few years....he must have collected intel somehow," Toue mutters to himself before heading to work on something.

"You have a lot of stuff in here Sei." Zora comments as he enters the room after Sei, glancing around with his arms comfortably behind his back.  Sei closed the door and walked towards him, remaining quiet. This caused Zorakuba to raise his brows as he looked at Sei.

"Zorakuba...this is not your real self. I can see that....what happened to you is that Toue tried to take over you again..." he said in a quiet voice, causing Zorakuba to grow surprised. "Wha- This is me! And...and NO ONE is in control of me!" He slightly shouted the last part as he crossed his arms, glaring at Sei with his crimson eyes.

"That just isn't true Zorakuba....Toue forced you to come here after sending Ryuuhou after you....and he is only going to use you for his plan. After that....he will most likely get rid of you." Sei tried to explain, seeming urgent.

This got "Zorakuba" to think. He..kind of did wonder what would happen after the plan was completed. Still though...he couldn't let his guard down! This might've been a trick.

"Tsk...why should I believe this? Prove it's real and I might actually think of believing you. Even so...what else is there for me to do?" He tries to come off as tough but...he had an uncertain tone. Why was this getting to him?! He's a soldier! A weapon of mass destruction! Yet this...guy who he just met is getting him thinking things he probably shouldn't consider in his position.

Sei sighed quietly before looking into Zorakuba's eyes.  Suddenly, he felt his head spin and the world around Sei and him changed and whirled.  Soon, they stood in the middle of a lab. It was...odd. No one seemed to see them or react.

Zorakuba glanced around before spotting Toue speaking with 3 scientists around what looks to be a circular pedestal. He glanced at sei as he motioned him to look closer.

Zorakuba sighed quietly and walked towards the four, and when he spotted what was on the pedestal he froze and gasped quietly....it was a small.. tiny child with long white and almost white skin. It....it was him! It was him as a little child....that...

He stared as one of the scientists pulled out a syringe with a mysterious liquid that glowed faintly. "And you're sure this will give him the abilities that I need in order to complete my plan?" Toue asked in a serious tone as the scientist nodded, injecting the serum into the crying Zorakuba's arm.

"Indeed sir....but what will you do once the plan is completed? He will need plenty of care and attention due to the strain of taking over so many peoples minds..." a young male scientist explains as he glances at Toue, who seemed dismissive.

"Once the plan is complete I have no more use for him. He will be destroyed once this is done so that no conscious evidence can ever overpass me. He will be a threat....and I will not let that be my downfall."

Zorakuba's eyes widened as he heard this, his whole world seeming to come together and shatter at the same time. Sei was right...he was just going to be used and thrown away once Toue completes his....

"No..." he growls lowly under his breath. Sei frowned as the scene around them returned to reality. He turned to him with an angry, terrifying expression. "I will not let that happen. I'm not going to be used in some...game of his. I'm going to leave." He states and starts to walk towards the door, but before he could step out completely none other than Toue stepped into his view.

He smiled as he stood in his way. "Ah Zorakuba...just the one I wanted to see...I hope you aren't trying to leave too soon." Damn it...he heard him talking to sei about leaving...

"Out of my way old man...I'm not gonna be used by you like a toy then be thrown away.  I figured out your plan." Zorakuba growled again at Toue and tried to shove past him, but an alpha clear stepped into his path with a smirk. "You aren't going anywhere...not until my masterpiece is finished." Toue said with a malicious grin as the alpha clear shoved him back into the room, shutting the door and locking it.

He...had to get out of here....no....he had to destroy Toue and everything in his path. He knew that they would hate him...the world that is. He could never be loved....even the one who created him thought of him as some tool to use...the others probably felt the same....Noiz too especially.

"I....will destroy all of them...."
