Chapter 26 Mink route pt.8

          "....what is it Mink?" Zorakuba asked and looked at him, wondering what Mink had to say.  He felt a strange sense of...awkwardness in the situation for some odd reason. He was having trouble speaking or acting coherently.  Minks next words surprised Zorakuba, who was expecting to get lectured about something he did.  "I'll be completely honest.....I...." Mink paused, feeling uncharacteristicly shy.  His words were in a softer tone than his usual harsh, stoic ones.  His eyes half lidded as he looked at Zorakuba, who was silently watching him with a curious, yet gentle expression.  Instead of continuing just with words, Mink gently cupped Zorakuba's cheek with his large hand.  Zorakuba's face became alittle red as his eyes widened slightly, looking up at Mink.  However, Zorakuba did not reject the hand.  In fact, he did the opposite as he unconsciously leaned into his touch.  "Mink.....?"  He asks just above a whisper, his voice seemingly unable to go any higher.  Mink in response leaned alittle closer to Zorakuba, his face close to Zorakuba's now red one.  He wanted to ask him something before he confessed.  "How do you feel about me, Zorakuba?" He asks him in a quiet voice, waiting for his answer.  He wanted to make sure Az wasn't messing with him, but Zorakuba was showing signs that what he said was true.  "I....." he paused and avert his eyes shyly, blushing deeper before speaking.

"I...I have...feelings for you...Mink" he says quietly and trails off as if he was afraid of what Mink would do.  Instead of responding with words, Mink guides Zorakuba's face towards his, before kissing him gently.  Zorakuba's eyes widened even further, his cheeks flaring up as he froze.  He was alittle surprised but as mink continue to gently press his lips to Zorakuba's, he slowly relaxed.  His eyes gently fell shut, and he returned the kiss alittle hesitant.  After all he hadn't done this sort of thing before with these kinds of emotions. He was afraid but also calm, his mind melting yet he was completely focused.  He just didn't know how to think so he told himself that he would stop thinking and only follow his true feelings and instincts. 

Zorakuba gently brought both of his hands up to Minks face, gently resting his hands on his cheeks.  After a moment of the silent yet passionate kiss, Mink slowly pulled back.  He looked at Zorakuba, whose breathing was slightly deeper than normal due to the kiss, his cheeks flared up.  Mink then did something Zorakuba didn't think was possible.  He smiled just alittle bit and only for a brief moment but it was there.
Zorakuba smiled in response to this before tilting his head and asking in an accidentally cute manner.  "Does this mean you feel the same?"  Mink smiled just a bit at this before gently resting his hand on Zorakuba's head, playing with his snow white hair gently. (The seme head pat!!)  Zorakuba understood what this action meant.  He smiled up at Mink, no longer appearing nervous.  He blushed lightly before suddenly hugging Mink in a tight embrace, burrying his face in Minks chest.  Zorakuba felt...just felt so relieved and happy and in love all at the same time he didn't even know what to do.   He almost felt like crying.  Mink held him close as he returned the embrace, sighing softly.  He would make sure to keep Zorakuba safe but...he didn't know if he could always be there for him considering his plans.  However, he was beginning to feel a different way if at all.
