Chapter 52 Ren Route pt.6

(There's gonna be a bit of a time jump because I've been stumped for a long while and have a ton of work to do for finals soon. I'm sorry in advance for the shorter chapters and time jumps.)

Zorakuba sighed as he rest his head against his small paws, gazing out the window of Rose, gazing out towards the bustling scenery of Platinum Jail. They had received an...odd invite. It was bothering Zorakuba as well as the others because it was no doubt a trap of some kind. It was very late too...and even then the place seemed alive. Zorakuba wondered if, in another life, he could have been amongst them living blissfully unaware of the world around him...not haunted by things he could never truly forget.

He was snapped out of his daze by a quiet sound outside, making him perk up. It was an incredibly soft sound from the balcony but...he had to be sure. Ren and Aoba were asleep besides him on the bed and he didn't want to wake them so he crept quietly towards the cracked door, his tiny paws making small pitter sounds. Once he reached the balcony he glanced around...finding nothing. He stood there for a moment, lingering as he listened quietly. Nothing...maybe it was just his imagination-

A sudden figure dropped from above from the flat roof, grabbing him tightly in gloved hands and grasping his muzzle, preventing him from screaming or calling for help. He looked up only to discover a white mask and a familiar frame. Clear....? No this wasn't clear...it was someone else similar to...oh...

A sudden flash of memory hit him. He recognized the Alpha Clears design...how he saw them as he traveled amongst the oval tower...how terrifying their abilities were. He remembered how they were the ones to put him into that god awful chair on Toue's command...he was in danger. And so was Aoba and Ren if they were around.

Before he could think much of it as he squirmed desperately against the alpha clear to no avail, the robot ran silently along the balcony and jumped, landing on another roof. Zorakuba could only struggle helplessly as he was brought closer and closer to the tower... it was taking him back...he had to escape somehow! But how could he fight back in his state?!

Before he knew it, the alpha clear entered inside the tower through the staff door, heading down the hallway. The other staff and alpha clears paid no mind to the two other than curious glances. They definitely knew Zorakuba would be there...which scared him even more. What were they going to do with him?

An eternity later, he reached a large cell like door and opened it, walking inside and tossing Zorakuba onto the bed. He immediately tried to dart towards the door but was blocked by another figure...a familiar one.

Toue....

"Ah Zorakuba...it's been ages since I last saw you...at last you have come home. I hope the transformation wasn't too regrettable" he sneered with an arrogant grin as he saw the look of confusion on his face mixed with a look of realization and horror.

"That rhyme battle back in the district..." he muttered to himself before glaring at Toue. 

"What did you do to me?!" He snarled angrily, baring his sharp little fangs to the amusement of the alpha clear and Toue.

"It's simple...while our agent distracted you and that boy and his allmate...we transferred your consciousness into an almate. Makes you much more manager for the moment doesn't it? Don't worry...it won't be long before you have a human figure again"

Zorakuba growled more and nearly managed to run at Toue to bite him, but got picked up by his neck by the alpha clear. "Easy now, Zora-kun....you will soon forget those awful, awful memories and emotions and be reborn again into something quite useful to me...Take him to the lab and transfer him into that human unit I showed. Make sure to do it properly....then alter his memories" he commanded the alpha who nodded with compliance, walking out with the struggling Zorakuba, horrified by what was about to happen to him. He had to figure out a plan...

{Option 1} Play it safe and hope something will happen

{Option 2} Take a chance to convince the alpha clear to aid Zorakuba somehow

{Option 3} Attack the alpha clear once Zorakuba is turned back to normal.
