-Author's Note-

This is the moment we've been waiting for, the transformation from Loki, to Tom. Don't worry the reunion is coming very soon. Just you wait... (DON'T YOU DARE START QUOTING HAMILTON AT ME)

Loki's P.O.V.

"Are you sure this is the building?" I ask Thor, staring up at the block of concrete that towers over us.

"Yes, I'm quite sure. This is the apartment building that the letter stated." He mumbles, fumbling with the letter to check if we're in the right place.

"It's so dull. There's not a single house in Asgard that is not gold. Why is Midgard such an ugly place?"

"Loki, you're only seeing the worst part of it. Midgard is more magnificent than you think. Now, Fury should be waiting inside." He gives me a reassuring smile and pulls open the door. As expected, Nick Fury is waiting inside holding a small package.

"You're finally here." He says mockingly.

"I'm sorry, we got a bit lost on our way here. I hope you weren't waiting too long!" Thor laughs.

"No, it's fine. Anyway, if you follow me I'll show you to the apartment you'll be staying in." Fury gestures to two metal doors on the wall. He presses a button to the side of it which has an arrow pointing upwards. The doors suddenly slide open. "Now, if you'll please step inside."

"Ooooo I love these transportation boxes!" Thor laughs.

"It's called an elevator. Just go inside." Fury sighs. I cautiously step inside the elevator, followed by him and then Thor. I notice a few buttons on the wall, some are numbered, some are lettered and one has a red bell on it. "You might want to pay attention, you'll be using this all week." I watch as Fury presses the button with the number 6 on it. "You're on the sixth floor, room 127." The floor starts to rumble and the elevator jerks upwards.

"I never understood how these worked. Are they some sort of hover ships?" Thor asks excitedly.

"Sort of. It's pulled up by wires. They're usually used in tall buildings so you don't have to walk up the stairs."

"Oh, how smart! Why don't we have these in Asgard? This is a truly brilliant contraption." Thor gasps, he does tend to act like a child when he discovers something new. There is a quiet ringing sound and the elevator stops moving. The doors slide open to reveal a hallway with an intricately designed red and yellow carpet, lined with doors. The door numbers start from 120 on my left. I spot room 127 and head over to it. I pull on the door handle but the door won't move.

"The door appears to be locked." I state, letting go of the handle.

"Yes, don't worry. Here." Fury says and hands me the small package. I open it. Inside is a range of items. There is some sort of plastic card with numbers on it, another plastic card with some writing and a picture on it, a letter and a key. I pull out the key. It has a tag with the number 127 on it. I slot it into the keyhole on the door and turn it. There is a clicking noise. I pull the key out and pull the handle down again. The door opens right into some sort of living room. It has a blue-ish carpet with a large sofa, a small table. Opposite the sofa is some sort of drawers with a strange, flat shiny black thing standing on top of it. One thing I can't help but notice is the view. It takes me back to when I was trying to take over New York, standing on top of Stark Tower, watching the city crumble before me. To my left, I can see a kitchen but my mind is quickly distracted by the thought of (y/n).

"I hope you like it, brother," Thor smiles. "I made sure S.H.I.E.L.D. gave you got the highest quality room."

"Yes, it's wonderful. Thank you. When can I see (y/n)?" I ask.
