I see my street creeping up and as soon as he made that right turn, I felt a chill roll up my spine. "Here we are" Luke said pulling the car up to the front house "We can just live in the car right" I asked."Why don't you want me to meet your family" Luke asked "Because my family has to much to it's name" I said to him. "Like what" he asked "The longer you're here you'll know" I said unbuckling my seatbelt getting out of the car and getting the bags.
"Here goes nothing" I said as I opened the door. When I opened the door the house looked cleaner than usual.
My house was average it had a porch with lawn furniture on it. My house was grey with a white trim. It had windows all around the house, curtains were pulled to the side during the day but drawn closed at night.
My house had a somewhat spiral staircase that was hard wood. Most of my house had hardwood flooring. There were pictures everywhere, Me and my family or friends, distance family. The kitchen was my favorite I always had the best memories there, baking with my mother or learning new recipes. Our backyard had a pool in it and green grass and my favorite mr. and mrs. flamingo.
I wasn't rich but I had enough to pay the bills and then some. My house was built by had by my great great great great grandfather. Over the years, my family has worked on this house and it finally became the dream house that my Mom and Dad had dreamed of.
"Dad" I said as I opened the door "I'm home" I said placing my bags on the floor. "Grace is that you" my dad said coming out of the kitchen with a aprion on drying off his hands. "The one and only" I said. My dad walked over and gave me a big hug. "And you must be Like" my dad said "Nice to meet you sir" Luke said "No need to be formal, son this is a chilled house" my dad said as he shook his hand.
"I love your house" Luke said to me looking all around. "Thank's" I said "This must have cost a fortune" he said "Barely two hundred, my family built this house over the years to finally make it the dreamhouse" I said. "Follow me" I said to Luke as I walked up the stairs. "You can put your stuff in here" I said "What is this room" Luke asked "The guest room" I said letting out a giggle.
The guest room was built after my grandmother who always loved the beach. The room wasn't over the top beach but very subtle. With a blue and white bed spread. A jar of sand with seashells placed in it. There's a tv in there even though anyone barely uses it. Frames of sailboats and oceanography. The whole nine-yard.
"And this is my room" I said as I opened the door. My room was very subtle. When you walk in the light shines in. On the left my coat rack was sitting there with all my coats and hats. I had a queen sized bed with black and white polka dot spread and lots of decorative pillows.
I had a desk with pictures on it and a succulent plant that had died. My window was also like a cubby. It had a bench with pillows and books surrounding it. I had small white lights all around my room. My closet was open which means I have a rack that holds all of my clothes. Since i'm a weirdo all of my clothes are color coordinated. My room also had a tv in it and a small bathroom.
"You have a very nice room" Luke said "Thanks" I said. Luke walked over to me and pulled me into his arms. I wrapped my arms around him and smiled at him as he began to kiss me. When ever he kissed me I felt as if fireworks are shooting off into the air. I feel safe when I'm in his arm's. We fall onto the bed together not losing our touch. We eventually broke off from our kiss and smiled at each other.
"Grace are you still up here" my dad said coming up the stairs. I flung myself off of Luke and ended up falling of the side of the bed. "Whoa" I said as I fell on the floor. "Honey are you okay" my dad asked and he lent me a hand "I'm fine dad" I said getting up. "Well then who's ready for Lunch" my dad said as he walked out of my room and down the stairs. I looked and Luke and Luke looked at me and we couldn't help but smile and laugh on what just happened.
