*****Nine Years Later*****
Today was the day I moved out of my condo in Orlando and into my new house in St. Petersburg. "Okay honey this is the last box" Scott said holding a box and walking out the front door.
I met Scott three years ago, he was a new hire at the radio and was there for me when I had some dark days. We went out for drink a couple of times and we started dating, then two years in he proposed to me and we got married about three months ago.
I love Scott he's one of the funniest guy's I know and he's someone that anyone could ask for. I was lucky to have a husband like him. He knows everything about me and my past and he's always there when I need someone to lean on.
I looked at the empty condo for one last time. Walking thru each room, remembering every memory I had there. I smiled while walking around and every now and then letting out a little laugh. I made my way to the back door and opening it up. I took one last look and one last smell of the beach while taking off my flip flops and putting my toes in the sand.
I heard Scott walk back into the house, I put my flip flops back on and walked into the house closing the door behind me. "You all ready to go?" Scott asked walking into the condo "Yeah just let me double check the drawers" I said opening and closing numbers drawers. I opened the last one to find a picture of Luke and I in New York in front of the Statue Of Liberty sharing a kiss, I smiled.
"Everything cleared" Scott asked "yeah" I said holding the picture "Okay, i'll meet you in the car" he walked out the door. I took one last look of the picture in my hand and set it on the kitchen counter. I walked out the door and turned around "Goodbye condo, i'll never forget you" I closed the door and locked it.
I got into the car and put my seatbelt on, having Scott reach out and holding my hand, we both smiled. We pulled out of the driveway, drove past the house and onto our new life together.
