"You seem fairly average for a pro if you ask me," Karma said. "Is breaking glass supposed to be intimidating? Because I can do that. What I wouldn't do is call in reinforcements as an opening move, but I'm not easily threatened by a bunch of amateurs."
The students, excluding you, gasped and Karasuma was quick to reprimand Karma, but Koro-sensei stopped him, explaining that Karma was clearly on his guard.
"Have faith in him. Karma is a force to be reckoned with, we all know that, but he's been working extremely diligently to sharpen each of his skills. You wouldn't have noticed, but trust me," you persuaded.
The fight began and the assassin and Karma were dancing around each other like both were ticking time bombs. The assassin went straight for Karma with all his strength as Karma dodged and blocked every move that was targeted at him. You watched on anxiously because you knew the odds weren't in Karma's favor but you had faith in him.
"Those are your defensive moves, aren't they, Mr. Karasuma?" Koro-sensei questioned.
"Karma's been watching Mr. Karasuma very closely. He admires your fighting skills and strategy in a way you wouldn't be able to understand. Karma practices them non-stop at home and when we spar after school," you explained.
"Man, this is the most I've ever heard you talk," Isogai said.
"She has confidents speaking about Karma because he is what she knows best," Koro-sensei told.
"What's the problem? Your basic maneuvers ain't going to win this. You have to attack," the assassin chided Karma.
"Oh, you don't say. And what if what I'm really trying to do is keep you occupied? I mean, my buddies are kind of hoping to sneak by, so maybe I'm just being clever. Oh, relax, I'm pretty underhanded on the best days, but this fight I want to win fair and square," Karma said, cracking his knuckles. "No tricks, no cheating, just us as men."
"This is what I was talking about--a real battle to the death," the assassin responded, jumping at Karma.
Karma was able to take him down, but when he went to finish off the assassin, the assassin hit him with the same purple gas that was used on Karasuma, causing Karma to faint.
"Karma!" you screamed, covering your mouth with your hand.
Your classmates gasped and began yelling at the assassin about how it should have been a fair fight. The assassin suddenly picked up Karma by the head with one hand and raised him in the air.
"PUT HIM DOWN!" you growled, instinctively reaching for a weapon but found nothing on your waistband.
"Is this your girlfriend?" the assassin taunted, eyeing you up and down. "Wow, I can see why you tried so hard to impress her. I would too. You know, I--"
Suddenly, Karma unleashed a blast of purple smoke from a similar container he was hit with, making the assassin drop him and collapse to his knees. You sauntered over and put your foot on the assassin's back to push him to the ground.
"Or maybe I was distracting you so he could whip out the can," you said with a shrug.
"They're both psychos. Crazy how that turned out," Terasaka said.
"Match made in heaven," Kayano awed.
"Heaven isn't where I would say they were put together," Sugino joked.
The students proceeded to tie up the assassin by his arms and legs, then Karma sat in front of him as you dug through your bag for important supplies to seal the deal the way Karma liked to in his own way.
"We must see our opponent not as an obstacle, but as a person. Toiling in the shadow of defeat, we taste true victory," Koro-sensei spoke. "It's a pleasure to see you take this lesson to heart, Karma. I'm very excited about what your future holds in store."
"I'm so proud of you," you whispered to Karma, causing him to smiling sincerely, which made the girls awe at your relationship.
"Oh, we're not done yet," Karma announced, chuckling and holding out his hand. You, in return, gave him what you had. "I'm just getting started."
"What the hell are those supposed to be?" the assassin asked.
"Mustard and wasabi. You never know when you're going to need them to shove up a nose," Karma said, holding them up. "Part of keeping my guard up meant I had to play nice, but now I can let loose."
Karma placed a nose piece on the assassin's head to keep his nostrils up and began squeezing the mustard and wasabi into the holes as everyone watched in horror.
"(Y/N), where are my ghost peppers?"
You rolled your eyes, reached into your bag, and snaked out the clear package before handing them to Karma who then used them to torture the assassin further.
"Who carries that stuff around!?" Terasaka screeched.
"Karma forces me to." You sighed.
After cleaning up the mess that was made, the students continued down the corridor and made it to the doors of the club, but there was a problem.
"You boys stay here. Leave the tricky part to those best qualified. We'll go in and unlock the door to the VIP stairs. You fellas may be at your depth in the club, but us girls will do just fine," Kataoka said.
"No, absolutely not, it's too dangerous," Karasuma stated.
"Well, plan B, then. Nagisa takes (Y/N)'s place," Karma suggested.
"What? As your girlfriend?" Terasaka mocked.
"No, as one of the girls. I don't want guys to hit on (Y/N) as much as you all do because that will cause a distraction, but sending Nagisa in adds to their protection," Karma explained, annoyed.
"Agreed," Karasuma said.
After dressing up Nagisa as feminine as possible, the girls headed into the club as you and the guys went around to the door they were supposed to unlock and you could only pray that everything went well.
