"I'm not even sure it's possible, but instead of killing Koro-sensei, I think we should save him," Nagisa suggested.

"Save him?" Isogai questioned.

There were murmurs of agreement and disagreement heard all around. You looked to Karma to gouge his reaction, but you saw something you didn't count on: rage.

"I'm against it. We're assassins and he's the target. Not killing him would defeat the purpose," Nakamura stated.

"Always the talented ones," Karma muttered, garnering everyone's attention. "Fighting whatever the odds everything will work out in the end. You know what pisses me off, Nagisa? You have no respect for anyone who isn't you!"

"Woah! Where is this coming from?" Nagisa shot back.

"Guys," you said, standing between them. "You have no reason to fight right now. Stop this before it gets out of hand."

"Oh, we're way past that," Karma replied furiously. "I'm sick and tired of the doubts that cloud Nagisa's mind. He is so damn concerned about things that only affect him, yet anyone else is insignificant. He's selfish!"

"Me!? Selfish!?" Nagisa shouted, stepping closer. "What about you, Karma? You're the most self-centered person I have ever met! You only ever think about your interests and skip class whenever you please because you don't feel lik going! You're lazy and it brings down the rest of the class."

"Stop!" you screamed, pushing both boys backward as they breathed heavily. "You both have been like brothers for years, where is any of this coming from? You're both completely wrong about each other and you need to find common ground right now!"

"Always the mediator," Nagisa mumbled, irritated.

"Don't talk to her like that," Karma growled.

"I said to stop," you warned once again.

Koro-sensei intervened later on and broke up the arguments between the students and suggested a battle to see what they would do with his life with each student taking a side and having Karasuma being the referee. Everyone began choosing their sides with Karma and Nagisa being the team captains of their respective teams.

The only one left who hadn't decided was you.

"I'm remaining neutral," you announced. "I won't choose between my best friend and boyfriend."

"I respect your decision," Karma said, albeit still infuriated by Nagisa.

"Me too," Nagisa agreed.

The teams were blue (against killing) versus red (for killing) and you took your spot with Koro-sensei on the sidelines as Karasuma took his spot at the top of the mountain. You held the binoculars up as the shot rung out to kick start the battle.

"As a future assassin, what is your true standpoint on this?" Koro-sensei questioned.

You rested the binoculars in your lap and looked up at your teacher. "I think assassination can both save and destroy, but in this case our choices of right and wrong are limited. Whichever side they choose, neither of them are right, but we do have to make a decision that the entire class as a unit agrees on."

"Well said," Koro-sensei replied.

The object of the game was to steal the opposing team's flag and it appeared that the red team was destroying the blue team with Karma's leadership intact. You hated to admit how proud of him you were because of his strategic thinking, but you were still confused about where Nagisa was.

You watched as much as you could through the binoculars as more and more students joined you and Koro-sensei on the platform. There was still no sign of Nagisa but Karma was sending soldiers left and right to take out as many of the blue team members as possible while he could.

"(Y/N), how is Karma so good at this?" Irina asked.

"He's good at everything," you muttered. "Every since I've known him, Karma has paid attention to every person, every aspect of everyday. There's not a moment that goes by where he isn't having his eyes out."

It seemed that right after you finished speaking, Nagisa dropped out of the sky like a lightning bolt and took out the rest of the red team's members as if he were the ultimate threat, which he was. Karma and Nagisa were the remaining students left and everyone watched with bated breath as they approached each other.

You put your binoculars aside as Koro-sensei began making the situation more tense and Karma started to taunt Nagisa. The remaining students ran out onto the field as the two team captains met in the middle. You stood back in the crowd with your arms crossed and waited for the inevitable.

Karma and Nagisa charged at each other and went at it like pros, throwing knives and punches every which way. You noticed instantly that Karma was taking all the hits as if it didn't affect him but you knew your boyfriend too well; he was hurting, yet he wouldn't let it show.

You remained silent and neutral as you watched the two most important people in your life fight each other with rage and fury. It broke your heart, truth be told, but you were aware that things would go back to normal once this was over with.

Karma knocked Nagisa down with an axe kick and you, just like the others, thought it was over, but once Karma approached the blue-haired assassin, Nagisa jumped up and did the stunner clap. Although usually effective, Karma bit his tongue in order to not pass out, which surprised you to your core.

Nagisa went at Karma with a knife and you detected the absolute fire burning in Nagisa's eyes, especially after he threw the knife and took Karma down in a choke hold. Karma failed to be able to do anything about it and struggled constantly to get out of it until he reached for the knife on the side but ultimately dropped it.

"I give up," Karma whispered, patting Nagisa on the back, which only made the boy tighten his grip and caused Karma to wheeze.

You took the opportunity to step in and ripped Nagisa off Karma as if he were a rag doll, bending down to check on the red-head.

"Red team has surrendered! Blue team is the winner!" Karasuma announced with cheers echoing all around.

"Are you okay?" you mumbled, helping Karma sit up.

"Yeah," he muttered back, irritated before turning to Nagisa. "Just to let you know, your back was wide open, I just couldn't bring myself to stab you. You want to save Koro-sensei? Talk. I'm listening."

"Really?" Nagisa questioned.

"Yeah," Karma said, standing up unsteadily with your help. "Let's stop with the back in forth. What do you say, old friend?"

Nagisa smiled and Karma helped his best friend up by the hand. You checked on your boys once again before being able to take a breath and relax, but what you didn't know was that the calmness would not last long.
