Career counseling. For the life of you, you couldn't decide on anything you wanted to be. You didn't find yourself to be particularly talented in one area besides being able to learn things quickly and efficiently.
"What am I good at?"
"What?" Karma questioned, confused at what you asked.
You looked over at your boyfriend as the two of you sat on the tree log in the middle of the forest near the school building where class started in ten minutes.
"What can I do? What do I want to do?"
Karma took your hand in his. "Whatever you want to be. You're great in various areas and you would do amazing with whatever you choose."
"That's so cheesy. I'm asking you to help me, not flirt," you chastised.
"I'm not flirting with you, (Y/N), I'm telling you that you're incredible in every way, shape, and form and you can literally do whatever you want to do. You are the most passionate and confident person I know. Just follow your heart."
You groaned and nudged your shoulder with his. Karma, in turn, was the most kind-hearted and vindictive person you could ever have the pleasure of crossing paths with, but when you needed his help, he would flip around and not actually help at all, only telling you you had to choose your own path, which was truly tedious for your brain to process.

"I don't know," you huffed, crossing your arms as you leaned into the chair.
"You seem agitated. You're usually the most reserved person but today you appear to be quite riled up. Tell me, why is that?" Koro-sensei inquired.
You sighed. "Karma has always known what he's wanted to do--become a bureaucrat. He's wanted that power and authority for as long as I can remember, but I could never measure up to that standard. I don't know what I want to be in the slightest, but what if it's not good enough for him? What if he wants someone with a more courageous career path?" you confided.
Koro-sensei folded his tentacles on top of the desk and leaned forward. "It sounds to me that you've already decided what you wanted to be but you don't think he will approve of it. Am I right?"
Your eyes were downcast at his revelation that was undoubtedly correct. Karma wasn't one for seeing through you that easily, but Koro-sensei was a different species--literally--and could see past anyone.
"Yes, Sir," you answered shamefully. "Remember when I took out your tentacles before you saw what hit you?" He nodded slowly. "I think killing is my one skill--something I can do without remorse and I actually... find it fun."
"I support whatever career choice you decide to pursue as long as you think about the repercussions of what you're deciding here. Talk to Karma about it and see if he can provide some insight into his opinion," Koro-sensei suggested.
You thanked your teacher and exited the office to see Karma standing outside the door. The walls were thin and you guessed he heard every word you conveyed to Koro-sensei just by the soft expression morphing his features. Without a word, Karma took your hand and led you outside of the school and onto the field where you could be alone.
"Why didn't you tell me you felt that way?" he asked.
"Because you're so you and I didn't want you to worry about me and my feelings," you confessed. "You're so full of life, Karma, and I didn't want this bloodlust inside of me to derail your journey to where you want to be."
"Where I want to be?" he repeated incredulously, piercing his eyes to yours. "Where I want to be is with you. Can't you understand that? I don't care if we're living in a cardboard box under a highway as long as you're there to hold me as I sleep. God, can't you see how in love with you I am? If you want to be an assassin, then go for it. I got your back like you've always had mine."
There were times where Karma surprised you, and this was one of them. You were so lucky to have snatched him up when you did, but unbeknownst to you, he felt the same. You were the brightest star in the sky to him even on the cloudiest of nights where you shined through the fog and lit up his darkness.
You were that way ever since Karma met you, and from that day on, he knew you were the person he would crave to be around no matter the paths you took in life.
You and Karma decided to skip class for the rest of the day and get a bite to eat near his house at a small, old-fashioned diner you had gone to on your first date, but while you were eating, Karma surprised you with a question.
"What do you think your father will say when you write your final report on what you want to be and he realizes you're going to be an assassin?"
Usually at the mention of your father, you would become sad and frustrated, but this time, a smirk crawled its way onto your face and you swallowed the food in your throat.
"It's his own fault for putting me in Class E, but maybe I ought to thank him while I'm at it. Being in Class E has been one of the best things to happen to me, and if it weren't for his neglect, I wouldn't be with you and I wouldn't have realized what I'm good at," you said.
Silence occured afterwards, which you were grateful for because it meant that Karma understood what you were saying. You would forever be fortunate to be able to call him yours and live out your life the way you wanted to whether it be as a regular, everyday person or an assassin.
