Holy. Crap.
This day is agonizing.
Do you know how many people I've seen with knives today? Two! It's only 11:10 on my first day, and I've already seen two people with knifes. A girl in my English class is pregnant. And another one has a face tattoo.
I'm horrified.
Gym just ended, and I was almost running to my locker to dump my gym back and grab my Science text book. Three more classes, and the day would be over. Gerard said he'd come and get me after school because he wanted to hang out. I was incredibly thankful that I didn't have to walk.
I made it to my locker without a scratch, and was quickly putting in my locker combo. I bet to the other kids, I looked like a cat in a room full of rocking chairs. It's funny because maybe 20 out of the 400 kids here are psychotic, and the other 380 are normal. I needed to calm down.
I took a deep breath, and closed my locker. 'Be normal,' i told myself.
I walked down the hall, holding my binder and book to my side, and looked straight ahead. 'Be confident'. The students walked to their classes, and the more I looked around, the more normal everything seemed. Just teenagers. Walking to their class. Talking with their friends. Holding hands with their lovers. Being normal.
I entered the science room, and sat in the back. There were only about 11 people in my class. Four boys, and seven girls. A tall guy was sitting in front of me, slouched down in his chair, twirling his pen. I rolled my eyes, and opened my binder, crossing my legs.
Throughout the class, I noticed two of the girls kept looking at me. Probably at my wounds, or my hand. Or maybe they thought i was ugly. Or maybe my hair was messed up. I suddenly started to feel insecure.
"Okay, everyone get into groups. Two groups of four, and one group of three." The teacher spoke up. I glanced at the paper that talked about bioaccumulation. Great.. Everyone was moving, and getting into groups. And I just sat there. Until i heard something.
"Hey," someone whispered loudly. I glanced towards the noise, to see the girls who were looking at me. "Come be in our group." The blond said. I didn't know if she was kidding or not. But in the end, I sighed softly, stood up, and walked over to their table. "Hi." She said.
"Hi.."
The one talking to me had long blond hair, and green eyes. She was wearing black jeans, and a black sweater that was zipped up all the way. The other had black hair that was tied up in a ponytail, and was wearing a superman hoodie, and blue jeans.
"You like Blink?" The blond asked, pointing to my shirt with her pen. I looked down at my Blink 182 shirt, then up at her with a nod. She then zipped her sweater down, revealing a Blink 182 shirt. I chuckled. "I'm Trace, and shes Cas."
"Cas?" I asked.
"My mom decided she'd name me Casper.." Cas said. I chuckled softly, along with Trace. "Shush.."
"What's your name?" Trace asked.
"Jess.." I hated meeting people. Things were always so awkward. Except for with Gerard. That was different.
"Cool Jess, cool. I have a feeling we're going to be good friends.."
KKKKKK YEAH I KNOW THIS IS SOSOSOSOSOSOOOO SHORT AND I HAVEN'T PUT A LOT OF GERARD YET BUT SHE CAN'T JUST NOT GO TO SCHOOL SHE HAS TO FOR A THING I HAVE PLANNED AND YEAH THE NEXT CHAPTER WILL BE WITH GERARD OKAY IM SORRY
