"I like me better when I'm with you! I like me better when I'm with you!"
Mella closed her eyes and breathed deep before continuing her painting. She was just about to paint on her canvass when suddenly loud noises errupted her quiet workshop.
She glared at Marky who's busy banging her wooden desk with her pencils serving as his drumsticks.
"Will you shut up?"
Marky didn't hear her.
She stood up and marched her way towards him. She harshly pulled his left earphone.
"Hey!" reklamo nito. "Chorus na ko eh!"
"Wala akong pake. Ang ingay mo! Kailangan ko matapos iyong painting ko at may dalawa pa akong gagawin!"
Binawi sakanya ni Marky ang earphones nito. "Hindi naman nakakadistract ang boses ko."
She rolled her eyes at his kind of reasoning. Marky is just so annoying most of the times.
"I don't like it. Ayoko ng maingay kapag nagtatrabaho ako. Why are you here anyway?" mataray na tanong niya rito.
He turned to her. "Labas tayo, Mel. Nabo-bored na ako."
She sighed and leaned on the table. "Kung hindi mo sana brineak si Liza, 'di sana masaya ka ngayon."
She heard Marky clucked his tongue. "C'mon, it's been a month since we broke up. I moved on."
"While she's not." she interjected.
"Hindi ko na problema 'yon."
She heaved out a loud sigh.
Is it my fault that I get tired of the relationship. You know me, I don't like being...constant."
"Marky, a relationship should be constant. Gago ka ba?"
Marky grinned at her and she perfectly knows that she just asked a stupid question where the answer is really obvious.
"C'mon, let's go to The Hive, gusto ko magwalwal." aya sakanya ni Marky sa madalas na bar na pinupuntahan nila.
She pulled her hand back from his grasp. She doesn't have time to play right now. She has a lot of work to do.
"No. Sila Calvin ayain mo."
Naglakad siya pabalik sa canvass niya. Naramdaman niyang sumusunod sa likod niya si Marky. She sat down on her low stool and grabbed her paintbrush again.
She dipped her brush on a light red color and began brushing it to her canvass. Her strokes were solid and fine just how she's aiming for.
"Tara na Mel." pilit ni Marky sakanya.
"No."
"Please?"
"Still no."
"Lilibre kita lunch everyday?"
"May pera ako. No thanks."
"Sige naman na!"
"Go away, Marky." she said with her bored voice. She didn't looked up to him because she's focusing on her work.
