A couple months passed. I was long settled in now, and was actually quite well known around Ooo. Once Finn had asked to be my boyfriend, I agreed and he wouldn't stop boasting about me to others during our adventures.
We did a lot of adventuring with out bodies too. Figuring what felt good and whatnot. But there was one embarrassing moment when Jake had walked in on us. I remember his jaw literally falling to the floor as we scrambled to cover up.
Well, after that humiliating event, Jake ended up moving in with his girlfriend and kids. It was about time he did that anyway.
That brings us to today. A sunny Sunday. Finn and I were chilling out on the couch with BMO and mindlessly chitchatting. Things were going fine until a sudden wave of nausea washed over me.
Finn must of noticed the color drain from my face. "What's wrong (y/n)?"
"I'm not sure." I whimpered while holding my stomach. But I couldn't hold it for much longer before rushing to the washroom.
I coughed, sputtered, and heaved over the toilet. And my boyfriend was there, holding back my hair and while rubbing my shoulders. I didn't deserve him!
The sick spell soon passed.
"Finn, could I have some privacy?" I asked while ashamedly wiping my mouth. "But before you go, ask BMO to come in here for me."
He seemed puzzled but shrugged it off. "Alrighty. I'll check in on you in a bit."
Five minutes later BMO came in.
"Quick! Get over here and open up the internet."
The robot padded up and Hoogle flashed on screen. "Internet opened!" he announced.
I immediately used his controller to type in 'signs of pregnancy'.
"Pregnancy?!" BMO exclaimed.
"Shush you! Finn can't know what we're doing right now."
It wasn't for certain, but with all the signs my body was giving me I wanted to be sure. Then I would plan out how to tell him.
The clues started adding up and there was no denying it - I was pregnant with Finn's baby. A surge of happiness coursed through me but it was quickly replaced with uncertainty. Uncertainty about his reaction, our friend's responses, and of the future.
Only time would tell.
