Aslam o Alakium! How's your summer? I'm here to talk about what most people do in summer. Go to water parks and theme parks! Here's what I've learned so far with being a hijabi and that topic.

Honestly for a theme park you can wear your normal scarf and if you put a few pins in it, it won't budge. Really! I've been to theme parks a lot since I first became a hijabi and honestly nothing ever happened to it. Yeah during a roller coaster your head may go all wonky because the ride is insane but your hijab will stay in place. Also I would recommend to use the pins that snap close.

Now water parks are trickier. You can wear your normal scarf but it will get wet and who knows how long it would take to dry (depending on the material.) But what I did was I wore a slip on scarf. You all know the ones I'm talking about. The really thin ones that come in loads of patterns but are usually black and white. Yeah those. You won't need a cap underneath, it's really simple.

For the longest time their only use for me was praying when I was at home. Now if you wear them around everywhere, you do you, I just prefer to wrap my scarf.
