A Valentine? For Jessie? (James X Jessie {Rocketshipping})

Everyone was giving Valentines with their names on it, but not James. James wanted to give a Valentine to Jessie, but he didn't put his name on it.

James was really quiet. And he didn't talk to many people. But he really liked Jessie, and he hoped she would like her back.

"Did you give the note to her yet?" Said Meowth, Popping out of James' backpack.

"It's in her locker," James answered.

"Oh, you did the whole, "Secret admirer thing?'" Meowth wondered.

James nodded.

He went to his locker and went to his first class.

"Hey Shy guy!"

James knew exactly who it was.

Gary Oak. . .

"What do you want Gary? Come to tease me again?" James asked in annoyance.

Gary laughed.

"What is so funny?" James wondered.

"You, that's what,"Gary replied.

"Your comebacks are a waste of my time. . ." James spat.

The classroom was filled with gasps after that.

"What did you just say to me?" Gary asked, clenching his fist.

"You heard me," James answered, "Your comebacks are a waste of my time!"

Gary was about to throw a punch when someone yelled, "Stop!"

They both turned around.

Jessie?

She walked toward Gary with an angry expression on her face.

"Leave the poor guy alone! He hasn't done anything to you!" Jessie said.

They both looked at her in surprise.

"You better be lucky!" Gary said, before walking away.

"Are you ok?" Jessie asked.

"Yeah, thanks to you. . ." James answered.

As James began to walk out of class, Jessie ran to him.

"Wait!" Jessie said.

James turned around.

"Yes Jessie?" He asked.

Jessie took out a piece of paper.

"Did you give this to me?" She asked.

His face turned red.

"Well. . . Yeah. . ." James admitted.

Jessie smiled and kissed his cheek.

"I would love to be your Valentine."
