Rumors (Paul X Dawn {Ikarishipping})

"Hey Dee-Dee!" Kenny yelled, running toward her. Dawn turned around and saw him.

"Don't call me that!" Dawn said, "Now what is it?"

"I've been hearing rumors about you lately," Kenny explained, "I rumor that I don't think is true."

"A rumor? About me?" Dawn asked.

Kenny nodded slowly.

"What is this rumor?" She said.

"You might not wanna hear it. . ." Kenny said, "Are you sure you wanna know?"

Dawn nodded quickly. "Yes! And I wanna know who is spreading it!" She responds.

Kenny took a deep breath.

"Ok. The rumor was spread by Zoey," He said, "And the rumor is that you like Paul."

Dawn froze.

"Wh-What?!" Dawn said, "I-I don't like Paul!"

But deep inside, she really did like Paul.

"Are you ok?" He asked.

Dawn nodded, "Just peachy!" She lied.

"Stop lying, Dee-Dee. . ." Kenny groaned.

What they didn't know is that Paul was eavesdropping behind a bush. He liked Dawn for a while.

"Don't call me that!" Dawn yelled, after that she sighed.

"Fine! I give up! I can't hide it anymore. I like Paul. . ." She sighed.

Paul stood up and walked toward her.

"You like me, Dawn?" Paul asked.

Dawn jumped.

"H-How long were you there?!" Dawn stammered.

Paul smirked, and answered, "For a while now."

"You heard everything?!" She asked.

Paul nodded. He leaned toward her and kissed her cheek.

"I also like you. . . I have for a while now." Paul admits.

Dawn smiled.

"I thought you hated me!" Dawn replied.

"I could never hate someone like you. . ."
