A Send For Help (Riley X Reader)

You were in the woods, trying to find Riley. You guys split up to find an important stone. But the worst part was that the forest had caught on fire.

Then, you felt a tug on your shirt. You turned quickly to see Riley's Lucario, but not Riley.

"Lucario, where's Riley?!" You asked, worried.

He lead the way to him, luckily, he was out the forest. But he was terribly injured.

"Riley! Are you ok?" You asked him.

He was barely conscious, but he spoke back.

"I-I should be fine," He stammered, "But are you alright, (Y/N)?"

"I-I'm fine," You answered.

You guys found a safe place to camp out, far from the fire. And you took care of his wounds.

"You should be better in a couple of weeks," You tell him, "And you need to rest."

"Thank you. . ." Riley said weakly.

"No problem." You said with a smile.

"But, (Y/N), why did you do this for me?" He asked.

Your face quickly turned pink.

"W-Well. . . You are my partner. . ." You answered.

"I-Is that all?" He asked, sounding a bit sad, "Because. . . I think of you more than a partner."

"O-Oh, you do?" You asked.

"I-I do, (Y/N)," Riley sighed.

You smiled widely.

"Well. . . I have a confession to make," You tell him, "I am in love with you Riley."

Riley smiled. He tried to get up and kiss you, but he couldn't because of the wounds.

You laughed and you kissed his forehead.
